My mother's Dr. (she's 89 and has Cancer) told her on Wednesday "You're an Amazing Woman". Music to my ears. She's tough...give her one glimmer of hope and she will run with it.
no need for red and green ribbons, bought stuff, all colors present in our garden -- presents given from nature.

I took several shots, though this was the best, considering framing, facial expression, etc.
I spend zero time training Rocco. What he does seems to come naturally or instinctively. One day, I saw him in the paddock, peering at me from behind the tree and I thought to myself how I wished I had my camera.
When I took the above photo, I walked him on the East side of the tree and dashed around the otherside and called his name. He would look away or open his mouth, put his head down, to the side, partially hidden by the tree, so that accounted for the several shots. This photo was taken handheld, plus considering he does move fairly quickly, thus the shutter speed 1/1,000sec used. Some times, you have one chance to get a photo right.

Back Story .........................................
Actually this is part of yesterdays story.
So lets begin, photo no# 1 and photo no# 2
of yesterdays upload were quite long texts.
The text with no# 2 was taking place on the
muscle nuns porch, this is where we are at
in this photo. Notice my change of costume ?
Somehow Mama knew we had arrived at the
nuns place. The Dog Palace where Mama lives
is quite some distance from the nuns bungalows.
Miss Legs is next door on the nurse nuns porch
only a few feet away. no# 1 wife, and 3 nuns are
jabbering away. Little Stubby is next to No# 1 Wife.
I'm sitting on a real small and short table when Mama
shows up and worms her way in behind me then plops
down with her chin resting on my leg, she's a happy girl.
Even though our lives are filled with terrorizing moments
of death and or dismemberment I want to share another
part of our lives too, a softer gentler side of our life.
And these tranquil moments far outweigh the on going
battle of survival in this brutal jungle environment where
your first mistake can, and at times, be your last mistake !

At daybreak we were checking on the river.
Still high and has crested the banks but it
isn't getting any higher. In other words
at the present time our home is safe.
A short debate was had and we decided to
make a run for the temple as there wasn't
any dark angry clouds threatening us.
No# 1 had been cooking special food for
the nuns and monk sense 4:AM this
morning so we had to go today.
If it was monsooning this morning it
didn't mater. We were going anyway.
As you can see in this photo there was
quite a welcoming committee waiting.
Ms Yo-Yo, Mr Rocky and of course
Mickey were the first to greet us.
Oh it was real scary, pushing, shoving,
jumping, licking, yodeling & mayhem !
Rocky and Yo-Yo kept running between
my legs in both directions and a few
times they both tried it at the same
time. That was a funny moment.
Made it out there and back without
a single drop of rain falling on us.
Nuns were very excited to see us
and put big MoJo on our karma.
It's noon-o'clock right now and
we are home..... River is the
same same but different.
If a monsoon downpour happens
this will get real sketchy real fast.
I hope to be at the m/c field tomorrow.
Thank You.

it was a day. we all held hands at dinner and three of us burst into tears. thankful for forgiveness and resilience and light.

Mama had just lost her mom, Mama-san 1.
She spent weeks up on the roof
at The Dog Palace waiting for
her mom to come home.
She never did ......;-(
Around this time I was showing up
most everyday with food for Mama.
So here's some news for y'all.
The Tube has 2 new tires.
Hopefully tomorrow
there will be some

Plan is to be at the temple early.
Bunch of food is now ready.
Computer is on the blink !

Sorry haven't been on Flickr lately, been working 3 jobs now down to 1.5 jobs, things are improving with hard work, 7 days a week. It's New Year Day and finally a day off, slept 14 hours with my babies :) I missed all the fireworks and celebration as my boss and I was stuck in the kitchen getting slammed with orders, got home at 1am :(
This was better than 2018 New Year's Eve, a feral cat attack, infections and high fevers, struggling to find a good paying job. Never give up! Love, Gratitude, Appreciation. I was meant to go through hardships, that woke me up taking nothing for granted.
Have a Happy 2020! Time to shine and be successful in life! Take care and be good to one another, Aloha!
Spiritually concerned people at a Medicine Buddha Havan ceremoni in Northern India, praying for good health for a group of ill people.
Again the results after, where amazing and unexplainable..

Once all the dogs had their monthly injections
they settled down knowing the coast is clear.
Overall they do real good when it comes
time for their injections and oral meds.
Yo-Yo, who is Rockys jailbait girlfriend
is racing around unable to curb her
enthusiasm. Little Stubby is real
angry at her for jumping up
on her porch and causing
a way big disturbance.
This stuff never ends.
No# 1 and the nuns jabbered away for
an hour or more then we had to go.
FYI,
May 28th is the one hundredth day
sense Mr Kind Monk passed away.
Thai tradition calls 4 a celebration
honoring his life while on earth.
After that his ashes will be spread on the ocean.
Yes we will of course be there helping the nuns.

[Reposting .... and best on black!]
Here and there and everywhere in Venice as one walks through the ancient streets of this fascinating cultural treasure - now a World Heritage Site - one sees these little shrines. Amid cell phones ringing, appointments to make, responsibilities to take care of, daily challenges, the fast pace and extraordinary complexity of modern life...these precious shrines are like little oases of peace.
While making ones way through the complex maze that is Venice one comes around a corner and in a split second one is invited to enter another dimension: a gentle vast realm speaking silently to us through the ages in a symbolic language soaked with meaning. These special gestures that invoke the human heart of healing across time and space.....so nourishing!
[Note on the photo: I added a layer from Borealnz to the photo. It had been taken early on a winter morning. The Madonna was on a north wall, in the shade, so the light was slightly blue. I decided to add a layer with a soft glow and make the scene more true to how I felt looking at her. See the original shot below.]
Moved up in my stream per the request of a fellow Flickr friend :) Thanks!

Abandoned Abused Street Dogs.
Alright here's a heads up on changed plans.
Everything was prepared for today's temple plan.
I was to stop at the dog clinic and pick up medication.
They open at 9AM so I was dragging my feet while waiting.
Four syringes would be prepared full of medication
and packed in ice for transport out to the temple.
At 8:30 AM I had a funny feeling, so no# 1 wife
was asked to call the nuns and make sure they
are there to help me. No one answered !
The calendar was checked and we
found-out today is a Buddha
day and the nuns are
at another temple.
It will be late afternoon before they return.
So in that case the plans for today have
been rescheduled for tomorrow. I'm
glad that was resolved before it
was to late. This is the jungle
and things here have a
rhythm all it's own.
Anyway now you know what I know.

this is such an oldie outtake from last year's 365
haven't had much time lately, but wanting to participate with y'all
some of my favorite thoughts of the past few days:
when you know better, you do better!
don't hold yourself hostage to who you've been or what you've done...
when you know better and choose to do better, you rise into your best self
take responsibility for the energy you bring to the world..and the energy you allow into your life!
HSS!
thank you dear friends, for your continued support and LoVe xo
