A moment after I took this shot I noticed Blue squinting her left eye. Pulling her eyelid back her cornea looked just horrible. I thought it had burst. Put her in the car and off to the vet we went. Without an appointment we had to wait 2 1/2 hours to be seen - extremely frustrating. Her cornea had not burst but the lens/cataract in that eye had detached on the upper portion and was tilting back into her eye. You can notice it in this pic quite clearly. This caused a dramatic increase in pressure within the eye. She is on pain, anti-inflammatory meds and glaucoma drops. When we are able to see the eye specialist they will most likely recommend removing her eye. I don't care that she won't have an eye, she is blind after all, but I'm worried about the surgery at her age. Still, throughout it all, she has never been a burden in any way. Loves and trusts everyone, every situation and setting. The most amazing friend.
It alters, and that is cool.
We need the lil extra to boost us from time time.
Ups and downs.
And then we are landing again.
It makes you appreciate life, doesn't it.
the clouds when leaving work today Oct 1st, 2008 at 18:42 in Heilbronn ...
original capture - slightly saturated to meet the impression of the eyes
I see an angel's face in the clouds ...
I dedicate this photograph to my friend Through_H@w@iian_Eyes. The angel's face in the cloud reminds me at this angel, who had to fly through some dark clouds in the last weeks ... Love you, Moana!

This image is my within
Summer this year is my most awesome summer ever
It's like the best symphony written ever, and it's written on a souls level
I'm alive and thriving
I'm here for myself
Landing in myself
Doing stuff for myself
Yesyes
I have my Egoistic Self on my top shelf
Following my intuition
Being crazy
Doing things I never thought I ever would do
And of course I am in love
There is a Man in my life
He has of course had quite some influence in me thriving
I'm bathing in love
He has made my head brainless
He has made my nights sleepless
He has made me taste all feelings I didn't even know I posessed
He has made me to the woman I knew was in there
I started the work
And he continued it
How awesome isn't that
Getting that kind of help
Yes and you will of course meet him
Not yet
In due time
Patients, says my Man
And that is so true
Love is the greatest gift there is
True words for sure
Geez, I love you so
And no, I'm not tagging anyone in this photo - hehe

Aiko
You are so loved
You fill my life with joy
I smile at you each time I see you
And luckily that is a lot
You are mine
I'm yours
You are not only filling the frame of my life
You are filling my heart
“When they attack you and you notice that you love them with all your heart, your Work is done.”
— Byron Katie
Although it was chilly when I took this frosty photo, I had such a pure and beautiful feeling straight after I snapped it. I was thinking about how I can’t help but love in spite of peoples unconscious behaviour. It’s just in my nature. I don’t think my work is done (I still get hurt and angry from time to time), but I’m grateful for these glimpses of unconditional love. It’s not something that can adequately be expressed in words. It’s something that you feel in your heart (and solar plexus). Have you had moments like this? I sincerely hope so. ✨
I think this is the way
Swoooooosch up it goes
Following the light
You can see it, can't you
The light is actually following you too
So,
You aren't only following the light
And why is that?
That's because You Are the Light
We are one
The light that we follow
And
The light that we are
I love that idea
My soul is full of light
So is yours
It is actually that simple
We are full of Light
And
Light is Love
How cool isn't that
We Are Love
And love is essential
To give
and
To receive
Because
We are all worthy love
Because we are love
Take a minute and think
Do I get the love I'm supposed to receive in this life
Is there something essential missing in my life
Perhaps you need to do some changes in your life
It's only you that can do that, you know
Move that butt, you too
You have choices
But you have take them
I do love you
How is it that a dog, even a dog that isn't yours, just a dog that's passing by on a crowded street, can make you feel so darn good? I have two words to answer that rhetorical question: unconditional love. If humans had even the remotest ability to exhibit unconditional love like a dog, the divorce rate would plummet, wars would be less common, crime would go down, so much evil in the world would simply vanish -- if humans could exhibit unconditional love like a dog. I bent down to make this photograph and this big fella just left me in a heavy wake of love. We should all be so kind.

We all know that dogs love you unconditionally. And we love our girl the same way!
I adore My Man
Simple as that
He steals not only hearts
He steals whatever there is of clothings, especially if it's made of wool
He wants me to chase him
And wow does he love that
So picture me here, in the middle of the road - running after him, trying to take the pink mitten from him, touching his back when I reach him, he takes a quick turn and runs even faster
Yes we look peculiar
Who cares
I don't
I love bonding
Whether they have 2 or 4 legs 😊
and the words
I love you
They are yours to cherish
If you want them
Carefully put them in your heart
In your safe little place
Let it grow there
Give it to yourself and then to whom you are surrounded by
We all need it
Our love is so immensely huge
We have lots to give
We need to be able to receive too
There must be a balance in all things
Love is the fundament of living
How could we not have that in balance
Aiko is cherishing the moment
We have a lot to learn from our 4 legged friends
Did I crawl up beside my best friend
Did we hug the world together
You might ask
There is definitely an answer there
I needed a Sunday Speech today too, obviously
FLICKR!!!!!!!!! Its been so long! As you can probably tell, I am here in America with senor Nace - and oh my days so much has happened!!!!
I flew in on saturday (6 whole days ago, i am ashamed to say) from manchester to chicago. I met a really really kind guy called Jon at manchester airport, we watched movies before the flight boarded and we helped each other change terminals at Chicago. I took a sleeping pill on the plane but it did jack shit because I WAS TOO EXCITED!!!!! I arrived at Raleigh, NC late saturday evening and met my baby at the airport, we headed home with some fried chicken and fell asleep in bed pronto.
The next day we decorated Aaron's house FULL of paper chains and christmas lights and paper snowflakes - just like in ELF.
We got a christmas tree and went shopping at Jareds! ;)
THEN we headed out to South Carolina for a few days with some friends Joe and Caroline! We forgot to bring internet but rented home alone and this photo was taken on Joe's dock - he has a boat and we went riding in it and it was AWESOME! we saw dolphins and pelicans and i saw my first palm tree!!! it was soooo hot and my hair went so frizzy but we had so much fun!
now we are back home after a great vacation and are going to get back to WORK! that is, we are going to take 365s everyday and not appear to be dead to everyone who doesnt know where we are.
i am just so happy to be here with my aaron. i missed him SO much!
thankyou flickr - without you guys and without this 365 project me and aaron might never have crossed photostreams. and oceans.
KISS!
Dogs (pets) are all about love.
You are giving love and you are receiving love.
It's a non stop thing.
Unconditional love, both ways, always.
Cuddling, hugging, playing, chatting, laughing, hiking, crawling, encouraging, melting.
Of course it's healthy for you.
We should be born into this world with prescription on some kind of pet.
Geez, I love this dude.
I give you Aiko and he is definitely hugging you all, he loves hugs, loads.

When you see the glory
There is nothing else to do
Than surrender
What does she mean by the "glory", you might ask
Of course she is rambling around again
About love
Love is immensely big
It is the greatest there is
The love you receive
The love you may give
What a gift
Have you ever been able to bathe in love?
I have
It's a precious gift I received from a loved one
You know, we all should
Think about the world we want to pass on to our children
We want only the best for them
Please don't you ever give up hope for love
Because
It will win
How could we even survive without love
We wouldn't
We would perish
Love you, you know 💜
My love
The cliche "Unconditional Love" is definitely not a cliche
You can't understand it if you never had a dog (sorry all cat owners)
But dogowners do understand
The love you feel
And the love you receive
Wow
Luckily it goes both ways
Yes, it is definitely unconditional love
And I bet, I am his Queen
Aiko is now resting upon the 120 cm fence. He is now 180 cm over the ground and has the view of a King, of course.
Snow is definitely covering Norway.
Elks and deers are not finding enough food in the forest.
Luckily we have some spots for them where we lay food for them.
Some elks are now wandering in our gardens to eat from our trees.
Yes please do, I say.
We leave them in peace and keep our dogs of course leashed and hope that they will survive this winter.
Exotic yes, even for us.

The Monkey Man circles us like a ghost.
Both dogs are being really cool and
seem to sense something is out of
order as they know it. Easy Peezy.
Overall, everything's just fine ;)
I'm taking micro steps while family races
around singing and chirping like a bunch
of happy jungle birds. Life is good, could
be better but it is what it is as we speak ;)
I'm dreaming of Christmas in The MCF.

My grandson's first trip to Build-a-Bear. The boy working there was named Chester, which is what Teddy chose to name our dog we got a couple weeks later.
"...A liberdade era meu poncho ao vento...
Para viver com ela,
alcei-a na garupa do meu flete
quando fechei pra sempre essa cancela
que se abria entre o rancho e a estrada real...
A ostentava como um estandarte,
a carregava como uma bandeira,
enchia o peito com orgulho dela
se, de passada por um vilarejo,
alguém, desde a moldura da janela,
olhasse, com inveja, deste andejo..."

People who care about animals tend to care about people. They don’t care about animals to the exclusion of people. Caring is not a finite resource and, even more than that, it’s like a muscle: the more you exercise it, the stronger it gets.
