Someone set out this beautiful border collie in rural VA when she was a puppy. She was all bones when she was found and rescued from a certain death. She was named Lucky because she was lucky to have been found just in time. Can't imagine anyone taking a puppy, just weeks old, and leaving her somewhere all alone to fend for herself. So cruel and heartless! Thankfully, she was found and given to my parents a week after they lost their beloved 8-year old collie to cancer. Lucky helped to heal my parents broken hearts and they saved her life. Lucky was given to the perfect family who has given her all of the love and attention that she truly deserves. She is such a sweetheart in every way. Couldn't ask for a better dog or companion.

This day was particularly beautiful: brilliant sun, warm even with the snow on the ground, just a great day. I'm so glad Sam is still with us to enjoy life on days like this.
