Truth be told, I'm a "bird" person!
“It's nice to have a pet that offers unconditional love,
someone who doesn't talk back.
I love cats, but cats take you on their terms.
My golden retriever could have a broken leg,
and his teeth could be falling out,
but if I walk in the door,
he'll wag his tail until it hurts.”
~ Bob Vetere ~
As a part of the Art Show, Blick held a drawing contest. The models were members of a local burlesque troupe, who struck various poses while the contestants sketched.
My feet have stood on my Grandmother's porch my entire life...small (from the day I could sit and drag myself across the porch) to large.
I look at these cracks in the cement and wonder. Where was the first decision and what are these next decisions. My life is truly at a fork. The paths sure go in opposite directions.
I wish my grandmother were here to help me decide. I wish she was here to give me that hug and support no matter the path I chose. We would sit on this porch and talk through it all.
She supported and encouraged. She taught me to listen. She taught me to hear and trust my instincts She encouraged me to follow my heart to adventure. She trusted and unconditionally supported me to live a life with more adventure and opportunity than she had.
I hope I am able to give this to others. I hope I am able to give this to my neice.

Que não vê cor, credo ou classe social!
Eu e minha açucarada [diabética] de 12 anos de idade. Todo santo dia me ensina a força da superação. Já passou por muitas coisas, e agora vem enfrentando a cegueira, e me ensinando mais ainda!

Today's quote from The Religion of God (Divine Love) by His Divine Eminence RA Gohar Shahi: Platonic love concerns itself to the heart.
Today is June the 14th and it is a very special day. Our Little one, Plava turned 12. As we all know in a dogs life this is an age that is highly respected....
I have already sung to her at least 10 times...she even had a few phone songs sung...on the telephone!
I am crazy about my girl...and can never sum her up in a few sentences...Please know that she gives pure love and is such an angel in my life.
xx
her mom, she wolf
Today- a day after our baby's birthday we had to take her to vet.. please know that Plava has a tumor close to her heart and also it is blocking her windpipes. We are trying to give do what is right for her.
Please - I will be not on line much as my heart can not bare this time...and I am needing to be with her until the time comes to say good bye. We do not know ...when this will be but please hold her in your thoughts...
thank you.
Thank you for all the memories we created together. You were my yellow muffin, my sunshine and my golden light. You helped me become a better me. You will always have a place in my heart. Rest in peace my friend.
Hand-in-hand-Father and Son = Unconditional Love. This was a lovely moment as we walked alongside the Oxford Canal near Brinklow in a deep cutting. We'd been playing silly word games but then we went quiet and just strolled - No words just being !

A dog's life can occasionally get a wee bit boring ....
Well, I am glad to report that today our vet called to give us good news: the growth on Sam's foot was benign - it's an adnexal dysplasia cyst. Sam has continued to sneak a few licks now and then, but I really don't want to put the dreaded "lampshade" on his head to keep him from doing that. Instead, I've had him with me almost every minute so I can scold him when he does start to lick. I can't watch him all night though ... so he has to sleep with an ace bandage to discourage him from worrying the wound too much.
So, life goes on for this old fella. He seems to be able to survive just about anything. I'm glad.
Baggins & Sam taking me for a walk. I love the way our cat, Baggins, goes with Sam and me for our evening walks. He'll stay with us for as long and far as we go. He hunts along the way, of course.

After Grandfather passed she had some illnesses of her own. A twin bed was moved into her room. It was placed in that corner. Her daughters slept in it when she was sick. However, it was always called Debbie's bed. It was my bed.
Each night I remember her saying her prayers as she went to sleep. They were comforting me. My experience with structured religion was......hell. The spirituality that my grandmother shared with me was sacred.
My grandmother was also a breast cancer survivor. She was diagnosed about my same age. A very active life just wore her litte body out. Breast Cancer didn't stop her.
I love how you can just see the unconditional love in daisy's eyes. Shes so sweet and she obviously adores juan.
this is my lillian - lily - at fifteen years beautiful. She has been very ill for several months and we think we will probably lose her soon. She fades a little every day. This was a rare moment of awake and alert for her.
She is the most loyal, loving, resilient and adaptable creature I have ever known. We moved 9 times together over the years, and she made it more than clear that whereever I am is her home. I love her so much <3
Update - Lily died on January 2nd 2013, suddenly, at home. We will forever be in awe of her gentle spirit and will miss her sweet, furry self in our world. She is everywhere. <3
The truest bond of a dog and it's human in it's purest form........unconditional love.
This shot idea I borrowed from a friend of mine (thanks Shane!!).
The paw obviously is Tabby's. I could of used some lotion on my own hand before taking this.

CALL FOR A WORLD PRAYER CIRCLE TO STOP THE PROPOSED BOMBING OF THE MOON BY NASA IN OCTOBER
On October 9th NASA is planning to send a 2 ton kinetic weapon to create a five mile deep crater on the moon. They are claiming ‘this is in the interest of paving the way for colonization and “to find water”. As usual we are kept in the dark as to their real motives for wanting to go ahead with such an inconceivable and brutal action.
Regardless of their intentions, what we do know is that it is absolutely absurd to even consider such a notion and that it could have catastrophic implications on the Moon, our Earth, and all of us who reside here; and, of course, all those to come. For not only does the moon regulate our tidal flows and the menstrual cycle of our women but she also nurtures our intuition, our sensitivity, our capacity to feel, our emotions. Like us, she is a living, breathing being and like us, the pain felt from such an attack would be intolerable.
We should all be asking ‘Why?’ ‘What will be next?’ And, how far will we be pushed before we stand together and demand that this craziness, inflicted by those who supposedly ‘care for us’ stop?
We are asking all who feel to, to join together in a unified world prayer, on the full Moon of September 4th. (Full Moon is 12.03pm).That we draw upon the unlimited power of unified heart full intentions and prayers in vision of stopping this proposed Moon bombing. We intend to create a circle of light around the Earth, as we merge our hearts in prayer, and radiate this light circle to cloak the Moon with our intentions, our hearts, our gratitude for what she gives us, and our demands that she be protected.
If you feel to, PLEASE pass this on and PLEASE offer your continual prayers for her wellbeing.
Thank you for your participation and for caring.

about HAARP
I am at a loss as to how to express the loss of Matisse, my cat and companion of 19 years. I hide my eyes as I cry. I raise my arm and elbow to protect from the pain. I lower my head with the sadness and loneliness that doesn't know where to go. The legs to stand on are weak and miss the companionship of the 19 years with my loved one.

Pink is my second favorite color next to green
Pink is the color of universal love.
Pink is a quiet color.
Lovers of beauty favor pink.
A pink carnation means "I will never forget you".
Pink Energy
Pink is a combination of red and white.
The quality of energy in pink is determined by how much red is present.
White is the potential for fullness, while red helps you to achieve that potential.
Pink combines these energies. Shades of deep pink, such as magenta, are effective in neutralizing disorder and violence.
Some prisons use limited deep pink tones to diffuse aggressive behavior

Wear pink when you want to present yourself as a peaceful, calm person who is not threatening.
The softer shades are very feminine and darker shades will alleviate feelings of friction.
In Western culture, the practice of assigning pink to an individual gender began in the 1920s From then until the 1940s, pink was considered appropriate for boys because being related to red it was the more masculine and decided color, while blue was considered appropriate for girls because it was the more delicate and dainty color, or related to the Virgin Mary.
Since the 1940s, the societal norm apparently inverted so that pink became appropriate for girls and blue appropriate for boys, a practice that has continued into the 21st century.
Though the color pink has sometimes been associated with gender stereotypes, some feminists have sought to reclaim it.
For example, the Swedish radical feminist party Feminist Initiative and the American activist women's group Code Pink: Women for Peace use pink as their color.
The pink ribbon is the international symbol of breast cancer awareness. Pink was chosen partially because it is so strongly associated with femininity.
It has been suggested that females prefer pink because of a preference for reddish things like ripe fruits and healthy faces
