Ubuntu is a South African Bantu word for a friendly and open person, and also describes the philosophy that you cannot exist as a human being in isolation. This gorilla is about interconnectedness. When you do well, it spreads out; it is for the whole of humanity.

for some reason the installer crashed while i was trying to install dapper drake over my old breezy badger.
This is my Ubuntu Linux (Gnome GUI) desktop on one of my two computers. It is a dual boot system based on AMD Athlon 64.
Linux in liquid form?
I have no idea where the Ubuntu Linux distribution got its name. Its principal developer/funder/evangelist/space tourist/benevolent dictator for life Mark Shuttleworth is South African, so I'm sure there is a common root there somewhere.

For screen 16/9
I made the background screen for the community GNU / Linux, Ubuntu.
You can freely download, and even adapt.
Of course I am inspired by the theme of the bottom screen of Ubuntu. Other format soon.
I hope it will appeal to the community, and everyone!
