Este es mi escritorio en Ubuntu 10.10 RC. El wallpaper no recuerdo de dónde lo saqué pero me parece que es uno de los que viene por defecto en la instalación de dicha distribución.

A painless upgrade from Hardy. While, still some small problems left. Will write a blog post later.
For example, wifi LED keeps blinking... The workaround is not very pleasant.

Keep in mind that Ubuntu's power management does harm to laptop HD, do remember to use hdparm -B 254 /dev/sda to stop Load_Cycle_Count growing.
Check using
smartctl -a /dev/sda | grep Load_Cycle_Count
Assume you have a SATA HD.
