FJMT designs the new UTS central building at the university of technology in sydney.
Architecture studio, FJMT has designed the new UTS central building at the university of technology in sydney. for this landmark site, a sinuous architectural form has been developed by the architects, which aims to provide a building that responds to the harsh urban environment through both aesthetics and function.
The lower levels are designed by FJMT to comprise of a dramatic podium, overlooking broadway to the south and alumni green to the north. this will house the bulk of the social, student-focused areas, including a learning commons, the new UTS library, scholarly reading room, collaborative classrooms, general teaching spaces and a student services hub. Meanwhile, the upper levels take the form of a tower that twists and rotates as it climbs, in response to the surrounding building and site geometries.

The building's façade, which was made of 320,000 custom designed bricks, is described as the "squashed brown paper bag".
As you may have noticed - I have not been using Flickr so much later, so recently I have noticed that Flickr seems to be having some major issues. Obviously they are doing software changes again.
Today, after uploading this image, all I got was empty space where the photo should have been. Refreshing the page/s didn't help. Just coming back to here an hour or so later, after receing the first comment from Margaret, the page took maybe 5 minutes to load, and as I type this, it still says 0 views and 1 comment. How is that even possible?
Does anyone have feedback on this or is it a Jim thing.
These days, with my contacts spread over a variety of social networking sites, I have been more active on Facebook and Instagram, but admittedly they are both very different to Flickr. At least they work reasonably well.
