A Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey hangs over the stern.

Thought I'd have some fun with the F/A-18E Super Hornet (aka Rhino) in this one. Really wanted to take advantage of the jet's paint sorta matching the sky.

Big fan of the F/A-18E "Rhino" Super Hornet over the years, so very happy I finally last year got a good picture of the high speed pass of the US Navy Tac Demo. Especially since this aircraft is a CAG Bird loaned by the VFA-151 Vigilantes for the 2017 Abbotsford International Airshow.

Sharing today this F/A-18F photo from the 2011 NAS Whidbey Open House for the following reasons:

*NAS Whidbey's next open house is 27 June

*Vertical Reality Simulations will tentatively release a two-seat F/A-18F Super Hornet by the end of 2015 for FSX & P3D (and hopefully an EA-18-Gee)

*Because the US Navy Tac Demo is coming back and I really, sincerely want 'em back at NAS Whidbey Island.
