This particular prototype circuit board only has one USB jack, but I have another prototype board with two ports (one supports Apple "i devices", the other is a standard USB port not configured to support Apple devices). Not yet sure what the final production version will have.

If you can say one thing about the Philadelphia skyline, it is always changing. The parking lot in the foreground hosted Barak Obama for a North Philly campaign stop. Construction has begun on a new Fresh Grocer to anchor to the refurbished mall. This photograph was taken from the sixth floor of the University Services Building [more commonly referred to as 'USB.'] Within a month, my employer, the Institute on Disabilities, will be leaving the building along with the rest of the current tenants. The building will then be taken down and replaced with a new gateway building inviting Philadelphians driving Broad Street to the Temple University District. All of the changes have driven up rents in the area and forced out local institutions including one of my favorite early morning spots, The Breakfast Club. The diner has served the community for 60 years, and closed today with very little fanfare besides a hand-lettered sign on the door. See accompanying group portrait.

This is the USB A - USB mini B connector that I picked up to add the mini usb connector to my cvs camcorder - after removing the plastic housing.
Similar things can be found all over eBay but shipping takes forever and I wanted to see if I could do it. Consists of a ATMega8U2 and an Anaren AIR module. Right now I have assembled the 2.4 GHz module but I have boards and modules for 868 MHz and 434 MHz too. Python interface is used to plot the output. I also plan to use these for communication to my minisumo robot and other radio projects.
These patterns are usually found on traditional Hungarian clothing and furniture. This particular set is known as the "Kalocsai" style. Kalocsa is a town in Hungary. The originals use vivid colors, etched in brass they look quite different.
