This is a USB wire and plug charging a cell phone.
The photo is a composite of 14 stacked raw images. The light source was a ring light. The ISO was kept at the camera's base of 200 to minimize any noise.
The camera was mounted on a tripod and each focus point was electronically made using the center weighted focus option. Therefore, the camera did not have to be moved and the focus ring was not touched.
An image that was shot for this week's Macro Monday group theme, which is Pareidolia.
I can definitely see a face in this USB connector...
