Perhaps Andrew S. Tanenbaum was prescient on the eventual state of USB when he said "The nice thing about standards is that you have so many to choose from."
Shown are five of the more common plug styles but even those can have variants for USB 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2 and counting.
Strobist setup One 430EX at 1/16th power from behind the subject through a white diffuse plastic sheet, another 430EX at 1/8th power from the front/right through another white plastic sheet. One white piece of paper to the right as reflector. The flashes were triggered with the manual wireless mode of the 580EX II that did not contribute to the lighting.
