He was professional wrestler born in France, but also very good poet and writer who could speak 14 different languages. Tillet was born in 1903, and as a teenager he manifested a rare disease called acromegaly, which causes his bones to grow uncontrollably. That didn’t stop him in pursing his goals. He moved to USA and become known as a pro wrestler called the “freak ogre of the ring”.
The idea of time travel is so fascinating because it taps into some of humanity's deepest desires and curiosities. At its core, it's about the ability to control the uncontrollable flow of time. This concept allows for the ultimate "what if" scenarios. We could revisit the past to witness historical events firsthand, understand our ancestors, or correct personal mistakes. Imagine being able to see the construction of the pyramids, attend a Shakespeare play as it was originally performed, or simply have one last conversation with a loved one. The allure is in the possibility of rewriting personal histories or even the course of civilization, offering a sense of power and a way to rectify regrets. This fantasy of manipulating the past and peering into the future is a powerful narrative that resonates with our innate wish for a second chance and a glimpse of what's to come.
Another reason for its enduring appeal is the inherent paradoxes and intellectual puzzles it presents. The "grandfather paradox," where one travels back in time to kill their own grandfather, is a classic example that challenges our understanding of causality and logic. These paradoxes force us to confront complex questions about free will, destiny, and the nature of reality itself. The concept of a timeline that can be altered or is fixed creates a rich landscape for philosophical and scientific debate. The fascination lies in the tension between what our intuition tells us should happen and the mind-bending possibilities that time travel introduces. It's a mental exercise that stretches the limits of our imagination and pushes us to think beyond linear, cause-and-effect relationships.
Furthermore, time travel is a powerful narrative device in fiction. It allows storytellers to explore themes of destiny, identity, and the consequences of our actions on a grand scale. From H.G. Wells's "The Time Machine" to modern blockbusters like "Back to the Future" and "Interstellar", the trope of time travel provides a framework for exploring complex human emotions and societal issues. It can be used to tell cautionary tales about the dangers of altering the past or to explore the emotional weight of living with a unique perspective on history. This narrative flexibility makes time travel an inexhaustibly fertile ground for creating captivating stories that resonate with audiences, whether they are thrillers, dramas, or comedies.
Finally, the fascination with time travel is deeply connected to our desire for knowledge and a deeper understanding of the universe. We are driven to explore the unknown, and time is perhaps the most fundamental and mysterious of all dimensions. The thought of not just moving through space but through time promises the ultimate journey of discovery. It offers the chance to see how the universe began and how it will end, to uncover the secrets of existence, and to answer questions that have plagued humanity for millennia. This intellectual curiosity, combined with the personal and emotional appeal of a second chance, makes time travel a truly captivating concept that will likely continue to fascinate us for generations to come.

For a very good reason. The chemistry set finally got its first outing today and she was taking no chances with her uncontrollable fringe.
I suddenly got an uncontrollable urge to make a little quilt for the puppy that we are picking up next week. I grabbed a charm pack, a wadding scrap and an old pillowcase for backing. I wanted to try this quilting pattern after I saw a tutorial at Oh Frasson last week.
My quilting is pretty terrible, I didn't bast at all, just layered and started quilting. The back is full of puckers, but that's okay :)
I'm sure the puppy won't mind, he'll be too busy chewing the quilt to bits to notice!
I really like the quilting design and will definitely use it on a proper quilt, but next time I won't rush so much, and will definitely baste!
As waves came in full force, BIL was uncontrollable. He wanted to keep playing while my sister was ever cautioning him. Seeing these two was fun!

I found these kids like this, laughing uncontrollably, with the scorching sun burning and dusty winds blowing, no slippers on feet, they just shoved each other and laughed.
My uncontrollable urge to make things out of metal remains unbounded and a host of rusty spring washers plus 6 old Irish Punts (with stags on) inspired me to start making this piece.
This is the chain for it, made from the spring washers plus the tangs from an old chisel and some sort of odd pentagonal burnisher or reamer.
Unlike a lot of my other pieces, I'm making this one fairly free-form, working with the materials to hand and working around issues as they occur, so the chain is a modified King's Pattern (to allow it to hang better than a plain King's Pattern there are three links in the middle of each section, not two) and the hooks for the main pendant piece were forged and fabricated without drawings or guides.
For me, working like this is both exciting and frightening.
St. Hubertus is the patron saint of huntsmen, metalsmiths, opticians and mathematicians. I don't believe such twaddle, but religious trappings never cease to inspire.

What is Bipolar Disorder:
The Bipolar Disorder is a kind of mental disorder and it is one of the affective disorders. It is characterized by episodic voluntarily uncontrollable and extreme excursions of the drive. Patients activity and mood might be converted into depression and mania very fast and it is not kept within the normal level. It is necessary to notice Bipolar disorder symptoms early as Bipolar disorder treatments are more effective in case of early detection.
Things to watch out for Bipolar disorder symptoms:
The Bipolar disorder is all about an episodic course with depressive manic and hypo manic or mixed episodes. Following are some common Bipolar disorder symptoms:
* Depression is characterized on average depressed mood and reduced drive. It is so dangerous that it can make a patient think about suicidal activities.
* A mania episode is nothing but about increased drive and restlessness and it is often marked with inadequate euphoric or irritable mood. Testing the reality of the disease is restricted at times and the disease can lead into great trouble.
* Hypomania is defined as a non-pronounced mania typically without serious social consequences. Hypomania is considered as above normal activity or it might be considered as a mood scale.
* A mixed episode is where both the symptoms like mania and depression are present which can be known from increased drive while holding down the mood.
Patients experience a normal state between the episodes of illness. Drive and spirit are back within the normal variation between the two extremes. There are various kinds of severity that can come to a person who is affected with bipolar disorder and the transition to a “charismatic” or exuberant form is nothing but fluid. Many people commit suicide who are affected by this disease as this is a very dangerous disease of the brain. It corresponds to disturbances in brain metabolism which is meant for manifesting the psychology. Lack of insight might be the symptom sometimes. This is true if the case is of manic episode with acute risk of suicide. The treatment is needed by the patients at the acute phases and sometimes it might be against the will of the patients. Very often patients display insight and suffer from high pressure treatment. Prerequisite for successful Bipolar disorder treatments is the correct diagnosis.
[Bipolar disorder treatments that can help,Helpful Bipolar disorder treatments,Common Bipolar disorder treatments:
Most of the Bipolar disorder treatments involve medication and patients should stay alone so that the neurotransmitter balance of the disease can be influenced. Regular inspections and interviews and constant monitoring are essential for the medication. Regular talk therapy might be implemented in mild cases which is totally dependent on the disease course and severity. Early detection of the disease is very important in this case. Bipolar disorder is not that kind of disease which occurs suddenly in previously healthy people but it is developed steadily. Often there is lack of knowledge among the public and sometimes among doctors as well. The fear of having to deal with mental illness makes people neglect relatively mild Bipolar disorder symptoms.
PACIFIC OCEAN (April 21, 2012) - A fire burns uncontrollably aboard the Taiwanese fishing vessel Shin Maan Chun Saturday in the Pacific Ocean. The fire forced the crew of nine to abandon ship and through a coordinated effort between the U.S. 7th Fleet and U.S. Coast Guard Sector Guam, all of the fishermen were safely rescued and brought aboard the Marshallese-flagged bulk carrier Semirio. The I Have To Shoot What?! Challenge for Week 27: Indoors
Earlier this week, we rescued this feral kitten in the hopes that he could be domesticated. Though he quickly warmed up to my husband, he started to freak out after 26 hours in captivity, climbing the walls and crying uncontrollably. How do you keep a cat that has only know being outside indoors? We had to release it, much to my husband's dismay. He sure was cute and we hope he survived after we re-released him...

Though beautiful, the Lupinus has spread uncontrollably in many areas in Norway and from 2016 it will be prohibited to import, sell or contribute to further spread of Lupinus in the wild in Norway. Make sure to limit your Lupinus to your garden! It is easy to do by removing the flowering stems before any of the Lupinus seed pods are ripe. Recycle your green gold (garden waste) and soil in your own garden to keep “control”, and use it to maintain your garden flowering.

This was almost the scene of a major accident. An inch to the left and this 4WD would have rolled over onto it's roof and then kept rolling uncontrollably until it his the bottom, 30 or so more meters down. The trees saved these guys.
I have literally thousands of photos from this trip. If any one wants more of a particular vehicle, let me know.
This is day 2, trip along the Border Track - Dog Fence.
This must be one of the best sand tracks to be found in Victoria/South Australia. It follows the border from near Pinnaroo right down to near the Melbourne - Adelaide hwy.
This track has very large sand hills to get over. Most of these hills have tracks to get around them if you are not able to get over them. Some of these hills are so extreme there's no way anyone will get over them, so this track can very easily be classed as a 'Difficult' track.
Very Important. Check with the SA National Parks and Reserves for information on when the track is closed, and what direction you need to go in.
The track is about 107km. Allow a full day to make this trip. For a more enjoyable weekend, take your time and camp anywhere along the track. Stop in or camp at Red Bluff - scenic red sandstone hill.
(This is where we stopped). Dress warm though as it gets hot in the day, freezing at night.
Make sure you pack all your recovery gear, and travel in a group with other 4wd's. (We had to recover 2 vehicles).
Check the depths of the mud holes. Some for us were over 1 meter deep. Watch out for the holes towards the end, they are really deep!
Momentum is your friend on the sand dunes. We used 15psi tyre pressures. (Try the sand dunes 3x, if you fail, take the chicken path)
We ended up getting lost around the supposed turnoff to red bluff, that according to the maps was "well signposted".
We ended up with broken eggs and bottles.
This is mostly a sandy track with dunes and provides you with a remote location for testing self and equipment without travelling deeper into the outback.
The environment is typical Victorian desert – Mallee country. Expect some scratching from Mallee scrub particularly in the Wyperfeld section and some parts of the Northern Border Track may be overgrown. Soft sand is to be found on the tracks as well as corrugations and hard gravel.
The border track is steeped in history largely due to the dispute which arose from the original survey completed between 1847 and 1850. The result is that the border is actually sighted some 3kms too far West. A fascinating account of this can be obtained from John Deckert at Westprint Heritage Maps if you manage to visit whilst in Nhill.
There is an abundance of wildlife to enjoy whilst undertaking this trip, so watch out for Emu and Kangaroo. Aboriginal rock holes can be found close to the junction with South Bore Track.
We were lucky to reach the top speed of 40 kms/hr.

My arms and legs often tremble uncontrollably, and then all of a sudden I cannot move. If I go to a cafe I look for a hidden table, and order food that is not too difficult to eat. I must constantly remind myself that nothing is impossible, it just takes longer. Like that morning when it took me 45 minutes to put the socks on my little boy. Nobody can take away the hope. The hope that there will one day be a panacea that means I can function normally again.

After a year's delay due to uncontrollable circumstances, Antonella graduated from Lancaster University with an MA in Historical Research - with distinction, I'll have you know. I'm tremendously proud of her. The diploma is framed and on the wall near her desk, and right next to it is this drawing I did of her in her cap and gown.
Due to your uncontrollable craving for peanut butter, you pass out and die after being unable to open your mouth from the sticky gooiness.

Someone loves knitting with handspun yarns. And it's me! I knit this scarf out of three coordinating skeins of Pigeonroof Studios handspun (Krista's yarns = an uncontrollable new vice of mine)--in Monarch, Millefiore, and Ash Rose. And even though it was super-simple garter stitch, I didn't get bored once while knitting it. I'm calling it my Carpet Scarf because it has the look and texture of a carpet or rug. And hot damn! this thing is toasty! (Yeah, I do realize I am wearing a thick wool scarf in August, so "toasty" may be a wee understatement). This thing is so thick and warm--and is going to be so so good for this winter. I suspect this is the first carpet scarf of many.
My Carpet Scarf was inspired by skrillaknits' Brulee Scarf pattern, but since I can't crochet for the life of me, I did my 'crochet' edge using a sock cuff technique. I also sewed my buttons on 'free-form' and not in any orderly way. :)
