I've been trying to dial in the pickup height this afternoon. This is a mean setup. I think it's slightly microphonic, though. It feeds back in a peculiar way. Not uncontrollably, though. It may end up being endearing.
The Tone control is everything I'd hoped it would be. This is the smallest value I've used to date (6.8 nF) and it's just about perfect, IMO. It's easy to reach down and take the edge off without trashing the overall tone of the instrument.
Here's something worth mentioning about aftermarket pickups, though; the differences aren't usually commensurate with the price. Which is one of the reasons I like Guitar Fetish so much. If I can spend $35 on a pickup that fits the criteria I'm looking for, it will usually sound SO close to the $120 pickup I originally looked at that it isn't an issue.
This pickup is louder than a regular Filtertron and it has kind of a cool voicing, but I'm not sure it was worth $135. I mean, I like it and I'm glad I tried it, but I always wonder if I'm spending money I didn't need to spend.
Still, it does seem to be a cool pickup. Billy Gibbons had a cool idea and TV Jones seems to have done a good job of making it happen.
I must keep schtum about this immersive dining experience. All I can say is I haven't laughed as hard or uncontrollably in years and years. Oh, the sea!
What is Bipolar Disorder:
The Bipolar Disorder is a kind of mental disorder and it is one of the affective disorders. It is characterized by episodic voluntarily uncontrollable and extreme excursions of the drive. Patients activity and mood might be converted into depression and mania very fast and it is not kept within the normal level. It is necessary to notice Bipolar disorder symptoms early as Bipolar disorder treatments are more effective in case of early detection.
Things to watch out for Bipolar disorder symptoms:
The Bipolar disorder is all about an episodic course with depressive manic and hypo manic or mixed episodes. Following are some common Bipolar disorder symptoms:
* Depression is characterized on average depressed mood and reduced drive. It is so dangerous that it can make a patient think about suicidal activities.
* A mania episode is nothing but about increased drive and restlessness and it is often marked with inadequate euphoric or irritable mood. Testing the reality of the disease is restricted at times and the disease can lead into great trouble.
* Hypomania is defined as a non-pronounced mania typically without serious social consequences. Hypomania is considered as above normal activity or it might be considered as a mood scale.
* A mixed episode is where both the symptoms like mania and depression are present which can be known from increased drive while holding down the mood.
Patients experience a normal state between the episodes of illness. Drive and spirit are back within the normal variation between the two extremes. There are various kinds of severity that can come to a person who is affected with bipolar disorder and the transition to a “charismatic” or exuberant form is nothing but fluid. Many people commit suicide who are affected by this disease as this is a very dangerous disease of the brain. It corresponds to disturbances in brain metabolism which is meant for manifesting the psychology. Lack of insight might be the symptom sometimes. This is true if the case is of manic episode with acute risk of suicide. The treatment is needed by the patients at the acute phases and sometimes it might be against the will of the patients. Very often patients display insight and suffer from high pressure treatment. Prerequisite for successful Bipolar disorder treatments is the correct diagnosis.
[Bipolar disorder treatments that can help,Helpful Bipolar disorder treatments,Common Bipolar disorder treatments:
Most of the Bipolar disorder treatments involve medication and patients should stay alone so that the neurotransmitter balance of the disease can be influenced. Regular inspections and interviews and constant monitoring are essential for the medication. Regular talk therapy might be implemented in mild cases which is totally dependent on the disease course and severity. Early detection of the disease is very important in this case. Bipolar disorder is not that kind of disease which occurs suddenly in previously healthy people but it is developed steadily. Often there is lack of knowledge among the public and sometimes among doctors as well. The fear of having to deal with mental illness makes people neglect relatively mild Bipolar disorder symptoms.

Last night, history bends for
Barack Obama.
So much happened yesterday. I got up at 4:30am on 3 hours of sleep to vote, headed out to Pennsylvania with Julie, Dan, Aviva, David Meerschwam, Jocelyn, Nina, Amy, Jowan and Sarah, canvassed all day, came home, walked the dog, met up with everyone at Cafe Deville to watch the election results, and then romped around Union Square celebrating with the crowds, only returning home and finally getting to sleep 26 hours later, around 6:30.
I'm going back to bed.
There is a bug on one of the flowers here that I was going to edit out. However, due to all of my happy/sunshiny photos as of late, I have an uncontrollable urge to be creepy so I left the little critter in :D
In mythology, the unicorn was impossible to tame. Hence the early Scottish monarchs' adoption of it in their heraldic propaganda pieces: Scottish royal symbolism had the uncontrollable unicorn leashed and chained, making a powerful statement about the undisputed power of the king, (or, perhaps more accurately, the crown's ambitions for undisputed power, at a time when European monarchs were only gradually gaining possession of sole authority in their kingdoms).

This guy just danced uncontrollably without a care in the world at Dundas Square...I love people like this. For a while people were laughing at his less than flattering dance moves, but seeing his energy and carefree attitude, people just started enjoying without passing judgement anymore.
He liked me taking pictures of him. It was amazing :-) Carry on Dancing...
When she scratches his "hearts" - the little markings on each cheek - he yawns uncontrollably.. It's hilarious. I only caught him about halfway with the yawn - but the way his ears are cocked make this just too cute not to post. So, here it is...

Today's Random Fact : I almost never use a flash - mostly because you get a harsh artificial light effect, and it's intrusive. I broke out the old Sunpak tiltable turbocharged flash today. This is one shot that made the cut. Bounced off the ceiling, the flash provides more than enough light , and provides a soft, even light and true colors...
It has been too long. I feel as if I should upload uncontrollably as I have not been able to for two months! I've missed you flickr
"Love
Has a way of wilting
Or blossoming
At the strangest,
Most unpredictable hour.
This is how love is,
An uncontrollable beast
In the form of a flower.
The sun does not always shine on it.
Nor does the rain always pour on it
Nor should it always get beaten by a storm.
Love does not always emit the sweetest scents,
And sometimes it can sting with its thorns.
Water it.
Give it plenty of sunlight.
Nurture it,
And the flower of love will
Outlive you.
Neglect it or keep dissecting it,
And its petals will quickly curl up and die.
This is how love is,
Perfection is a delusional vision.
So love the person who loves you
Unconditionally,
And abandon the one
Who only loves you
Under favorable
Conditions.”

My Master put butter in my moccasins and roasted my plump little slave soles over an open fire in front of his friends. They laughed as I wiggled my little toes uncontrollably screaming it was too hot.

Under escort by HMCS TRENTONIAN, PHOENIX 194 has broken her tow line and is drifting uncontrollably in the convoy channel in the Irish Sea on 19 October 1944. Several attempts were made by the tug crews and the sailors manning the caisson to get another tow line onto Phoenix 194. Eventually the Phoenix crew had to be removed due to exhaustion and a new crew was brought out from shore and put aboard. The concrete caisson was to be placed off Normandy as part of the Mulberry Harbour. Due to a rising gale, there were continued problems with towing this massive block of floating concrete and it eventually sank in the Irish Sea. Photo taken from HMCS TRENTONIAN.

I had an uncontrollable need to post this, partly because of the beautiful, silky spotted belly, and partly because it is a perfect picture of how they love, yet can't bear to be brushed, all at the same time. The grimace is the agony, and the wantonly spread back legs are the ecstacy.
They need the brushing. We find clumps and clots and matts of cat hair everywhere in the house.
Fernando gets stuck trying to climb off the ride...I'm ashamed to admit instead of running to his aid, I was laughing uncontrollably :(
It was all these three could do to keep a straight face. I have three blurry pictures of them laughing uncontrollably.
Blue is sadness.
Your life is uncontrollable,
your life is unstoppable,
when you're in blue.
You've launched yourself in
a strange color palette, that is life.
Remember: you are the punctum,
the neume, the spectator.
So,
sometimes you will be in red,
when your passions take your mind.
Sometimes, you will be in green,
when you understand,
the beauty of a tree.
And when you will finish to
try all this colors,
you will find the others
in blue.
This semester my theme again was focused on beach landscapes, more specifically sunsets. Throughout the course of the semester I wanted to spend more time geared towards editing because often during shoots there were some uncontrollable variables such as the weather, no clouds, or just trying to find the right angles to shoot at in general. I learned to play around with the different editing aspects such as the different hue, vibration, saturation, among other aspects.
Photos 1-6 were taken at Solana Beach. For these set of photos since the sunset was good but there was many things to shoot in the sky so I tried getting lower angles that had greater detail such as the ripples in the sands and the rocks because I felt that by doing so it brought out the most in the photo.
Photo 7 was taken at Sea Port Village, but unfortunately the day was cloudy making it more difficult, so instead I tried working with the surroundings to make the photo stand out more such as using obstruction with a nearby bush and group of flowers. I also tried to spend more time editing to create a vibrant photo especially bringing out the little sunset that there was.
Photos 8-17 were taken at Wind and Sea Beach and Sunset Cliffs. Much like the early photo sets there was not much to take photos of towards the sky so I took photos that were had a central object whether that were the people, animals. road signs, cars, etc. I also tried to go for a more orange look and feeling for photos 8-11 and more pink and blue hue for 12-17.
Lastly photos 18-20 were taken at La Jolla Beach and that day the sunset was a lot better with the clouds so it allowed me to have more options when shooting the photos. I tried to go to to different areas and incorporate the surrounding environment to make the photo more appealing along with editing it more vibrant to bring out the clouds.
Ok, so I made it outside for a grand total of 6 minutes 23 seconds just long enough to photograph this before I started to shiver uncontrollably .....that's a record :)

Ennis is also quite fond of the cushion on the changing table/dresser. I love how he's trying to blend in like he belongs there so I don't make him get down. Poor thing, it didn't work.
Been playing with Canon 30, the most automatic camera among my analogs. It feels very straight and uncontrollable: no adding extra frames to the roll, no double exposures. Pictures it takes are so sleek they could be... digital.
I remained standin' before the mirror & said to myself:
"At this time the day after tomorrow I may be a stranger to you. This person in front of me, this "I" whom I see in the mirror, will perhaps be no more" (;
No more time for regretting.
Imma walk to other direction & might not be back.
Take care, okbyebye♥

120421-N-ZZ999-004 PACIFIC OCEAN (April 21, 2012) - A fire burns uncontrollably aboard the Taiwanese fishing vessel Shin Maan Chun Saturday in the Pacific Ocean. The fire forced the crew of nine to abandon ship and through a coordinated effort between the U.S. 7th Fleet and U.S. Coast Guard Sector Guam, all of the fishermen were safely rescued and brought aboard the Amver participating Marshall Island-flagged bulk carrier Semirio.
