Arrivare il più¹ lontano possibile attraverso la condivisione e il passaparola, non solo per dimostrare l'utilità di quella vecchia teoria dei sei gradi di separazione ma, soprattutto, per rendere il pubblico parte attiva e fondamentale del processo di promozione di un disco e far sì che questo arrivi il più lontano possibile, passando da mano a mano e da orecchio a orecchio.

Si insinua piano, senza far troppo rumore, semplice, senza fare troppi giri. La musica di Pellegrino è così, lontana da tutto e allo stesso tempo vicina come un segreto detto all'orecchio. I Fabryka, un laboratorio musicale dallâattitudine indie pop, dalle esperienze elettroniche, le ambizioni internazionali e con una forte tendenza alla sperimentazione, nascono nel 2004. Il debutto vero e proprio arriva nel 2009 con il primo primo lp, âIstantaneaâ (Godz/Halidon), ma è nel 2012, con l'Ep "5 Days" (Snowy Peach/Faro Records), che prende avvio una lunga serie di successi, riconoscimenti e unâintensa attività live sui palchi dei più importanti festival nazionali e internazionali (Sziget festival, Neapolis Festival e Medimex 2012 su tutti). Vincitori del premio âVia Asiago Liveâ, organizzato da radioRAI, la band si è esibita sul paco del Primo Maggio di Roma nel 2012, riscuotendo grandi consensi da parte di pubblico e stampa. Oggi i Fabryka sono impegnati in un singolare progetto di produzione che li vedrà coinvolti in alcune particolari collaborazioni con i principali membri delle storiche band Perturbazione e Subsonica (TOMMASO CERASUOLO, MAX CASACCI).

#UAS Middle School Students Motivate One Another During Testing. "You're a bursting star with knowledge!" This and many other inspiring messages were etched into the sidewalks to the #UAS Middle School on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Students wrote these notes to our scholars for the New York State ELA test. This activity not only created freestyle avant-garde works of art but also helped students to relieve pressure in a colorful way.
UASCS Math Counts Team participated in the 2014-2015 Online National Math League competition and took the National Championship. There were 62 teams from 6th to 8th grade participating at the Competition, 32 of which were at the 6th grade level. UASCS Math Counts Team earned the 1st place in the 6th grade category.

On Friday, October 19, 2018, first grade #UASAtoms attended their first class field trip to Fort Rickey Children's Discover Zoo, in Rome, NY. The zoo provided an ice cream cone full of animal food and #UASAtoms took bits at a time in their hand to feed the deer and sheep through the fence and then fed them the ice cream cone. After stepping into the enclosure, #UASAtoms were able to pet the deer and hug the sheep. Our #UASAtoms were then taken to the dock and were able to feed the fish and ducks, and they loved it!
We then took a wagon ride that drove us around the zoo, where we were able to see all of the animals in their enclosures. After lunch, we were let into the “maternity pen” where the students were able to pet and hold baby goats and their mothers. Following the maternity pen, we went and played in the ball pit. We aren't sure who had more fun, the students or the chaperones! These visits to local zoo's help expose our #UASAtoms to diverse wildlife and are just one of the ways we are building success one ATOM at a time.

The purpose of program is to provide a venue where younger persons in the community can assist their older neighbors with general yard clean-up. Supporting our #UASAtoms to pursue these acts of service is one of the ways we are building success one ATOM at a time.

On Saturday March 24, 2018 Utica College hosted the 40th Annual Regional Science Fair. UASCS Scholars participated with eight projects in this important event. The #UASCS scholars presented competitive projects in several disciplines. UASCS students, Zerina Tricic and Clifton Rogers received certificates for their projects. The UASCS will continue to contribute to the development STEAM in the Mohawk Valley by expanding the UASCS Annual Science Fair, and through participation in local, regional, and national science fairs.

On Friday, October 12, 2018, seventh-grade #UASAtoms attended the Manufacturing Day at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. According to a Deloitte analysis done in 2015, based upon data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and Gallup Survey, over the next decade, nearly 3.5 million manufacturing jobs will be needed and it is expected that 2 million will go unfilled due to the skills gap. At the #UASCS, we believe in preparing our scholars for their futures. Exposing our students to potential career opportunities at a young age is simply one of the ways we are building success one ATOM at a time.

Our superintendent Dr. Hayali attended and was available to meet with parents of future students, as well as future students themselves. #UASCS #UASAtoms
