Barrie Tullett of The Caseroom Press has been working with True North in Manchester on the branding for the M Shed museum in Bristol.
Barrie was commissioned by Alan Herron, Creative Director at True North, to work on the typographic ‘M’s that form the basis of the museum identity.

A collection of typography studies, saddle-stitched and bound into an 8x8 booklet.

First set of layouts on a typography based Uni brief with the intention of creating an information document highlighting the basic print and type terms.
Cable Thief is the new typeface from Studio Disjointed that forms as part of an obsession with typography and the overhead power cables found across the rail network.
In the UK the theft of cable from rail networks has become a widespread problem that costs the network financially but also impacts directly on those using the service for travel.
The typeface is an experiment that looks at aspects of itself that are missing, the fragility of the font is held together by cables and pulleys. Without these the typeface would collapse.
