This was made at college as part of a typography project, the brief was to develop a phrase using cut out letters from magazines, newspapers etc and stick them on a square pieces of coloured paper into the style of a ransom note.
Formatt must have been a competing product to Letraset and Chartpak. I don't remember it, perhaps it wasn't common in the east.
Owen Pallett's 'This is the Dream of Win & Regine' typo-ed on purpose, this would be my favourite misheard lyric ever.
Typography project based on Jasper Johns' series 0 though 9. I used pencil, fine liner, water colours and ink.

Kinetic typography using Adobe After Effects. Following the Phobia Monster, I wanted to capture someone's emotions after discovering the types of unusual phobias, stimulating their head spinning in confusion.

This artwork about typography is all hand drawn, cut, and set. Yes, it is a couple of CD cases taped together. I had a lot of black mattboard and a few minutes to kill. Each letter was printed (by hand with white ink and a nib pen) and cut into a rectangle. The spacers between the words are blank rectangles of black.

This is my first typography selfportrait, it took me like 6 hours that i didn't noticed how they passed haha.
4th round of exploration. This series is focused on color, element registration, planar rotations and transparencies. As with before, no compositing or photoshop is used here, all elements are composed within the duration of the exposure.
The next round will look at the inclusion of real world/physical objects into this approach.
