A quiet inlet where you can sit and listen to the cicadas and watch the fireflies on a summer evening. Enjoy a boat ride or drop a pole in the water and try your luck. Bring a camera, a friend or someone special and enjoy this serene, picturesque little cove and keep an eye out for the turtles.

I encountered this one at Morikami Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach, Florida, the other day. This is the closest I have ever gotten to one of these creatures.

Unlike the toad, we didn't keep this gal. We put our mark -- in fingernail polish -- on her back and set her free.

Have you ever felt "stuck in the mud"....moving in "slow motion". Well, that's me today. I overslept this morning. I woke up, looked at the clock, and thought it said 6:36. Once I refocused, I realized it said 8:38 - OOPS! Not good - especially since I need to report to work around 9ish and I live about 20 minutes from my office.
I rolled out of bed and headed to the kitchen for my morning coffee and my computer. My daily routine is to work a shot up the night before to post on flickr the following morning. I wake up early each day to enjoy a cup of coffee and sneak in some private flickr time unbeknown to the other members of my household who think that my flickr habit is on the verge of needing an intervention.
Since I was running so late today, my plan was to quickly upload the shot I had ready to go and then get dressed and head off to work. But then I saw this guy looking up at me from my computer monitor. His facial expression just got to me. That's how I feel right now!!!!
So I sat at my computer, worked a little on the levels, and decided to give him his flickr debut! (It was 8:59 at this point). Then I ran in my room, pulled a pink polo, pink lilly pants and pink flip flops out of the closet (well it is PINK TUESDAY you know) and ran out the door. I made it to work by 9:30 and here I am (it's 10:08 now) and I am done.
Have a great day!

Nothing's Better Than A Good Stretch...
Green Cay Wetlands, Boynton Beach, FL
Changed the title after tv writer suggested it looks more like yoga than aerobics. I was thinking of the streching exercises, which I vaguely remember from my aerobics classes, never been to a yoga class... shame on me. Anyway, I do agree the title is better and in fact I kept changing it from "aerobics" to "yoga" back to "aerobics" before making the shot public... :-)
