Whats better than Turtle love?... Nothing! This adorable pendant features two equally adorable turtles experiencing true amour. The turtles and heart are set on a pretty turquoise background, the back is a cute coordinating retro paper. The glass is wrapped in copper foil and soldered with silver solder. Attached to the jump ring is teeny silver heart boxed up for safe keeping ( Can't have it breaking, Turtle love is very fragile. ) The black cording is included.

A turtle I found crossing Pughtown Rd. I brought it to where I work at Buttonwood Farm near Kimberton, PA.

This is a series of photos I took of it before I released it in a pond on a farm near where I picked it up a few hours earlier.

Turtle Shell by woollybutt

Found this shell belonging to Chelodina longicollis, known variously as the Snake-necked Turtle, Eastern Snake-necked Turtle or Common Snake-necked Turtle.

Location was a coastal lake that is closed to the sea most of the time. It's been more than 15 years since it was open briefly to the ocean (only for a couple of days) and that was the first time it's mouth was breached in around 25 years.
