Shukkeien is a small stroll garden, worth an hour of your time in Hiroshima. Here is one of its turtles. Interestingly, Shukkeien means "shrunken scenery garden", so called because the park displays famous Chinese scenery in miniaturized form with a pond, small islands, bridges and various plants.

found this little guy in a small pond on the side of the road, in the okanagan!

A rehabilitated Loggerhead Sea Turtles makes it's way back to the ocean May 18, 2012 in Isle of Palms, South Carolina. The turtle was one of two that were rescued and nursed back to health by the sea turtle hospital at the aquarium.

These turtles were unfortunately captive in a large pool areas, which had fresh sea water, but still wasn't big enough (10x10 meters). It was at a hotel in Buka.

The turtle on the left was a gift from a friend in Scotland, and the turtle on the right is a gift from my poetry professor. The photo is one I bought on etsy, and the pillow was made from a vintage crazy quilt. I picked that up at Secret Treasure, an antique store in Evanston.
