Today I put together this great curl cut by Philip Morganelli, aka Turning Taxis. It was lovely to handle the chunky birch ply and the image looks like its a canvas print. Some of the pieces are significantly larger than others, but all are delightful shapes. The piece count is low and it was over too soon, but still beautiful.
I have a special affection for Evelyn De Morgan's paintings, and have a small collection now. Flora is one of the most beautiful, and she really glows because of the gold paint that was used in her dress. Philip seems to share my enthusiasm because he had posted three or four small jigsaws by Evelyn on his website and on facebook, which he also brought to Puzzle Parley.
Turning Taxis 136pc Flora by Evelyn De Morgan, 5.5x12.8in, longarm & curls, interlocking. Cut Philip Morganelli Dec 2023.
This is my favourite, and probably also the one that is the best cut - so win-win! I contacted Philip before Puzzle Parley to secure it and was very happy to pick it up there.

Tomorrow I start a new job. Same company, different NJ location, just in a new area with a little different focus than I had before.
I'm excited, but it's like the first day of school...will I know enough, who will I meet, what's going to happen, was this the right move? I'm never one to stay static for too long, so I'm excited. But still...there's that nagging doubt that goes along with leaving your comfort zone to experience something new and to either sink or swim.
Turning the page to a new chapter of your life, your career, your thinking is always presents a personal test, though. And that's a good thing...
There I go, turn the page....
