February 2012 at Torrington Avenue turning circle in Tile Hill South, which is where we find the 19 route preparing for a return journey to Coventry's Pool Meadow Bus Station. The route linked Tile Hill with the City Centre via Canley (Prior Deram Walk), Cannon Park and Earlsdon.
Back to RIAT 2018, and the Ukrainian Sukhoi SU-27 turns hard in front of the FRIAT stand, burners blazing.
If only I could have captured the sound and visceral feeling of power!

Our Daily Challenge - On the Table
So I've been approached to take some photo's for an advertising agency.
This one was taken for a billboard of the restaurant which ties in so nicely with yesterday's challenge - also the real 199/366
Shots of my trip to Canada October 2018.
On my first day and only day in Vancouver. It was raining off and on all day but wasn't very cold. I spent most of the day on the Hop On and Hop Off Bus.
A color version from this spot. Careful balancing required because it's about a nine-foot drop down to the bottom of the circular pit the track turntable sets into.
Although Mendip Rails' Class 59s are infrequent visitors to Cardiff Canton for tyre turning, the DBC flavours are an entirely different matter.....

The marinade is made with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, crushed garlic, cracked pepper, smoked paprika, smoked sea salt (Salish), and ancho chili pepper. Marinade the skirt steak refrigerated overnight in zip-lock bag.
Asparagus is soaked just prior to cooking for 20 minutes in a quart of water vigorously mixed with 3 tbsp chili oil, sea salt and Asian chili-garlic paste.
Covered Traeger Grill is heated to 430Ëš. Steaks go on for 10-12 minutes (medium rare) turning once. Asparagus goes on for 8 minutes accompanied by several garlic cloves which are great to eat 'straight up' with the meal. Carve the steaks across the grain after resting the meat for 3 minutes.
With its train safely stashed between the two legs of the why, PM 1225 slowly creeps out of the east leg of the wye in Cadillac as one of the conductors stands guard at the switch. This wye is very light rail and listening to it creep and pop as the berk creeps around it is a interesting sound and feeling.

WEEK 52.2 – Flashback 2016: Hernando Walmart (V)
As promised, here we are entering the produce section of the Hernando Walmart from the main grocery actionway. Note how, in the Project Impact era, the layout was very straight: in other words, the two major dry produce stands on the left of the pic are parallel to the refrigerated produce case on the right. In this regard, I have to give the remodel credit: the new angled design makes the space seem a whole lot larger!
