I made this yesterday with stuff lying around the kitchen. Garlic and onion are fried in oil, along with tumeric and whatever other spices seemed appropriate. In go the beans/pulses. Then fresh red chilli.
Corvina on a bed of sauted red peppers, onions and artichoke hearts with an artichoke and pepper reduction. Tumeric Rice and plain boiled peas.
Thalipeeth is a west Indian unleavened bread. This is from Ruta Kahate's "5 Spices 50 Dishes". The main spices were cumin, cayanne, and tumeric.

Jack and I became #madeggscientists this afternoon. We dyed egg - both brown and white eggs in some natural dyes, onion skins, tumeric, cabbage and beets. Some are done and some are sitting in a dye bath until later today to see what happens to the colours.
