Bought a triangular weaving loom from SAFF (Southeastern Animal Fiber Festival)
I am starting my third weaving to be stitched to three other triangles to form a large shawl for my prayer shawl ministry at church.
the stack is clamped with the edges to be cut facing up
the resulting edge will be perfectly parallel to the reamed holes.
Although very close this PLOP pattern is not an equilateral triangle.
making accurate triangles on a (manual) mill is tricky since you do not have parallel sides to clamp. here I am using holes that can be accurately places to index where the edge of the triangle should be
This was a direct result of modifying the triangle twists of the Incan Twist into rhombic twists. I think this completes my series of naming stars and twists after South American Native tribes.

La Fábrica “Triangle Waist” una de las tantas, típicas de aquellos tiempos, situada en el corazón de Manhattan, en el 23-29 de Washington Place, en la esquina norte del “Washington Square” (lugar que hoy ocupa una de las dependencies de la Universidad de New York) con salarios muy bajos y largas horas de trabajo (55 y hasta 60 horas semanales) sin pago extra, fuera de las condiciones sanitarias infrahumanas.

I belong to a group that makes heart hugs for relevant occasions. And i had intended these to be for them. However, I made the bottom triangles by the wrong method and the blocks were 5 1/2 insteas of 6 1/2. So they became a preemie quilt. Using my Tall triangle ruler again for the navy-pink border.
triangle quilting pattern on squares beginning in the center with the two triangles reflecting those edges in my pattern. Gray basting thread to hold it all together.
