Czech seed beads PRECIOSA Triangles in the shape of a triangle.

PRECIOSA Triangles are made by cutting triangular or twisted triangular glass tubes with a round or triangular hole.

In addition to the existing PRECIOSA Triangle seed bead, we now present the new PRECIOSA Triangle Q-Cut which is manufactured using new Quality Cut production technology. The quality cutting of the tubes guarantees that these seed beads have greater precision and shape and dimensional stability.

We offer standard PRECIOSA Triangles in six sizes: the smallest is 2.5 x 2.5 mm and the largest is 10 x 5 mm. Twisted PRECIOSA Triangles are available in size 5 x 2.5 mm.

The PRECIOSA Triangle-Extra is a special type of these seed beads. It is only made in one size (3.5 x 3.5 mm) and it is exceptional, because it has a rounder shape than a regular triangle.

Czech PRECIOSA Triangles have slightly rounded edges thanks to their advanced technological processing.

The bottom triangle #12 was an unfortunate fabric choice. It is also unfortunate that I did not look to see what Jane's triangle looked like VS what the draft of it was. I prefer Jane's triangle much more because the 9 patch gets lost in Brenda's draft. I guess I don't hate it enough to redo it, but for now I will let it sit and perhaps tomorrow I may go ahead and redo it.

Triangle Lake is an unincorporated community in Lane County, Oregon, United States. It is about 25 miles (40 km) west of Junction City on Oregon Route 36, on the southwest side of the lake of same name. Lake Creek, a tributary of the Siuslaw River, enters and exits the lake.[2] Triangle Lake is closely linked to the unincorporated community of Blachly, on the northeast side of the lake, and the two communities share the K-12 Triangle Lake School, the only school in Blachly School District.

The 293-acre (1.19 km2) lake has had various names over the years, including Loon Lake, Lake of the Woods, and Echo Lake, but the name Triangle Lake (after the lake's shape) became the official name in the early 1900s. Before Fern Ridge Reservoir was completed in 1941, the lake was the most popular local spot for water sports.

Amenities at Triangle Lake County Park include two picnic tables, a boat dock, and toilets. Activities at the lake include boating, swimming, and fishing.

Fish species in the lake, which reaches a depth of 90 feet (27 m), include largemouth bass, bluegill, yellow perch, brown bullhead, kokanee, and cutthroat trout. The kokanee, landlocked sockeye salmon, thrive in the deep water, while good bass habitat is found along the south and east shores.

From peterga.com:

The quirky "Flatiron" building was completed in 1910 at the corner of Railroad Way and 1st Avenue S. (formerly "Commercial St.") and housed the Triangle Hotel and Bar. The bottom floor of the 56'x48'x28' structure continued to host a bar until 1929, when it became a Western Union branch office, sending its messages to the Cherry Street headquarters via brass pneumatic tubes.

Western Union departed in 1954 and the space resumed being a tavern. The hotel above, which was a brothel from the 20s until the end of WWII, originally had 8 small rooms, but now holds 2 apartments. It is said to have once been featured in Ripley's Believe It or Not as the smallest hotel west of the Rockies.

(Note: Seattle used to have four "Triangle" bars, now down to three -- which seems appropos. Mack's Triangle Pub in White Center has been refurbished from its divey past, and the Ould Triangle in Greenwood completes the current triumvirate. The Triangle Lounge in the Fremont area is now closed, replaced by "Nine Million In Unmarked Bills.)

Taking a break from Belgium pictures for a moment-

This was the last thing they saw-

One hundred years ago, on March 25, 1911, a fire broke out on the 8th Floor. As the workers had gone on strike the year before, the exits were locked by the managers to prevent job actions, and to prevent workers from taking breaks.

With no way out, 146, mainly immigrant women and girls, some as young as fourteen burned or jumped from these windows to their deaths.

Until only a few months ago, some of the victims remained unidentified.

The alarms sounded at 4:45pm, and it being an unusually warm March day, many soon came from nearby Washington Square Park to witness the fire.

By one account, the crowd stood powerless as girls and women, and men, jumped from the building, many wept as they watched.

The only bright spot of this tragedy is that it shocked the city and nation into much needed labor reforms which exist to this day.

Today, the building houses the NYU chemistry department.
