Just finished up a batch of these fabulous granny triangles to send off to Yarndale... tutorial free from here attic24.typepad.com/weblog/granny-bunting-triangles.html
I followed this Magic Pillowcase Tutorial from Organize Your Stuff Now. But instead of using contrasting fabric, I used some leftover isosceles triangle rows cut to 9" X 45". Also, I apparently accidentally cut some of my iron-grey fabric meant for this project into 6.5" wide strips, so I put them back together using French seams. I did not trim that initial 1/4" seam for one of these pillowcases, which I definitely should have. You should, too.
So, French seams + magic pillowcase tutorial means...there are no visible frayed edges on the inside of this pillowcase. Pretty magical indeed.

i started this shawl in february but put it aside shortly after. i picked it up again in july and couldn't put it down. this is the second lace shawl i've made this year with sport weight yarn, and i'm sure i'll be making more. i'd recommend this pattern to anyone!

Monument of Omar Khayyam At Naishapur.
He is inventor of Khayyam’s Triangle method for calculating binomial coefficients of degree n which is discussed in his Algebra book. Pascal 600 years later rediscovered this method and modern western mathematicians call the rule Pascal’s Triangle .
A part of his monument by Houshang Seyhoun resembles this invention.
اسرار ازل را نه تو دانی و نه من
وین حرف معما نه تو خوانی و من
هست از پس پرده گفتگوی من و تو
چون پرده برافتد نه تو مانی و نه من
There was a Door to which I found no Key:
There was a Veil past which I could not see:
Some little Talk awhile of ME and THEE
There seemed---and then no more of THEE and ME.
Nous ignorous tous deux les secrets absolus.
Ces problémes jamais ne seront résolus.
Il est bien question de nous derriére un voile;
Mais quand il tombera, nous n’existerons plus.
Das Rästel dieser Welt löst weder du noch ich,
Jene geheime Schrift liest weder du noch ich.-
Wir wüssten beide gern, was jener Schleier birgt,
Doch wenn der Schleier fällt, bist weder du noch ich.

Toika's Triangle with 4mm Swarovski crystal bicones added with an edge of Herringbone and picots. it only took an entire day and half the night to figure out how to get those crystals in there. I never learned how to decrease......oops. now I know how. ;)

The completed isosceles triangle quilt. As a whole, it looks pretty good. Up close, it looks a little sloppy, which I could've prevented if I wanted to spend more time fixing individual triangles. And doings lots more measuring.
