This is inside The Triangle, a shopping mall in the centre of Manchester that is, well, triangular. The building was almost totally destroyed by the IRA bomb in 1996 and has been extensively rebuilt inside. That said, the mall has changed quite a bit since I was last here nearly 2 years ago - the big thing with the Caffe Nero banner on it wasn't there, for example, and the entrance has been changed considerably.

The face was made with Affinity Designer by Serif (Windows version), and made into a "page" with items from CraftArtist. The techniques are exactly same for creating the (mainly) triangles for the portrait whether in Affinity Designer of CraftArtist.
Blue Triangle used to do some interesting things in Essex on Sunday! This was 2006.
Location is Little Dunmow, Throws Corner.
This, sadly, is when beautiful buildings like the Coronation Hotel became replaced by concrete blocks and lower Middle Street, viewed here from the Triangle, changed for ever..

I had to test out my quilted pillow-making skills with one for myself first! This one matches my triangles quilt.
Finished triangle toss quilt. The original pattern is from Little Miss Shabby. My version has smaller triangles that I attempted to paper piece...they aren't perfect squares! 😮 But it turned out fine and is already being loved by a new baby!
I think I need to make this style again. This is one I made a while back, and photographed on hideous orange paper ... lol
This is an experiment I did with Oregon sunstone. It's a super-simple faceting design comprised of about 5 facets (including the table, excluding the squared corners).

I had no good reason to take this photo, I was just messing around at work one day and cut of the corner of a cardboard box then, while I was carrying it around something compelled me to put it here next to the light of a window and take a photo of it and for whatever reason I ended up liking it a lot and figured, why not post it online? Yes, it was a slow day.
A rare gap in the traffic made for a perfect shot. Wright Streetlite WS2 in the Go Blue Triangle makes it way round Gants Hill roundabout on route 462 to Ilford.
