My own submission for my new collaborative project: Transform A Triangle :)
One of my personal favourites out of all my photos.
This was taken on our first morning at the Baan Boran hotel at Sop Ruak (I believe it's now called the Anantara). The river in the foreground is the Ruak, joining the Mekong; on the other side is Myanmar.
The original image was taken with an Eos 5, almost certainly on Kodachrome 200. I'm not sure about the subsequent processing (did I still have my rubbish cheapo slide scanner then?) but this was generated from a 96MB Photoshop file that I found lurking on an archive CD.
I've never managed to get a print that really does the image justice; we have a far-too-dark version in our living-room that I really must replace sometime.
I had an unexpected visitor this afternoon. This Blue Triangle butterfly decided that it wanted its picture taken, so came and landed right beside me. I only managed to get one shot before it took off, but I'm not complaining.
Better view of the chevrons, the dirty big triangle on the insertion of my bicep, and the texture area along the top of my forearm.

The construction of the pyramids in Egypt must have taken a very long time. The workers that built them probably got on each others nerves every now and then. To cope with all that there must have been a deep friendship between them. My translation of the artists text. The artist is Anders Reuterswärd.
See, you can do it. Just do the setup each time you are ready to make a model. The setup helps make the logic of the build much more obvious.

The former site of Triangle Adult Books, a porn shop near Broad and Boulevard in the Museum District of Richmond, has had its siding stripped away, revealing its origins as a gas station.
The building will be remodeled into a Mexican restaurant called "En Su Boca" - "in your mouth" (it was named this deliberately)!
