Why just tessellating squares or hexagons? An equilateral triangle is a nice variety :-)

A tessellation with no twist, just pleats. The results are hexagons on the front and hiden triangles on the back, "seen" when backlit.

I wanted a few photos with triangles. Found this at the art gallery in Österhaninge. Made by Marianne Kopamees.
Just a piece of a larger design that's in the works. I liked it enough I wanted to share some of it early :)
