This was the gift which accompanied my *duck* card given to the receptionist at my Physical Therapy center. She had mentioned one of her first jeeps was *denim* themed, so I couldn't resist going into my stash to create a little pouch for her, complete with a cell phone pocket!

Of course it wouldn't be finished without one of my signature tassels, designed with her favorite colors (blue and purple) and loaded with *charms* which represented some of her interests:

Dangle Designs included a tree of life, flower of life, peace sign, telephone, wishbone, wishing well, and a *Hamsa* amulet!

As you can see i've been on holiday to Florida and hopefully catch up soon,

Disney's Animal Kingdom The Tree of Life,

The Tree of Life is huge. It stands 145 feet tall, and at the base it is 50 feet wide. There are over 8,000 branches in various sizes, and over 102,000 man-made leaves. Each leaf is over a foot long.

Image of a street in Pompeii. The left side has been excavated and the right side has not. The scaffolding helps to hold up the earth. I like the idea of the tree rising from the ruins in the background.

"I think that I shall never see

A poem lovely as a tree." ~Joyce Kimer

I just went back to the Oregon Coast, second trip this month, with some friends from Texas. On our way back we stopped in Portland and I finally got to see the famous maple at the Japanese Gardens. I see why it's so popular!

One Lily is joy and several are a pleasure. In the wondrous white flowering there was an unfocused centre ready to be composed into a Heart. The Heart was all ready fading, the bright petals were gently time spent mouldering back to soil from where they had sprouted with their moment of splendid presentation now fading into degradation. One picture repeated and repeated to release the central pulse from the Heart of Death and of Life to fulfil the flowering out of The Lily of Life not unlike the sephira of Tiphareth on The Tree of Life.

Tiferet (Hebrew: תִּפְאֶרֶת Tip̄ʾereṯ, in pausa: תִּפְאָרֶת Tip̄ʾāreṯ, lit. 'beauty, glory, adornment')[1] alternatively Tifaret, Tiphareth, Tifereth or Tiphereth, is the sixth sefira in the kabbalistic Tree of Life. It has the common association of "Spirituality", "Balance", "Integration", "Beauty", "Miracles", and "Compassion".[2]

Description

In the Bahir it states: "Sixth is the adorned, glorious, delightful throne of glory, the house of the world to come. Its place is engraved in wisdom as it says 'God said: Let there be light, and there was light.'" [3]

Tiferet is the force that integrates the sefira of Chesed ("Kindness") and Gevurah ("Strength", also called Din, "Judgement"). These two forces are, respectively, expansive (giving) and restrictive (receiving). Either of them without the other could not manifest the flow of Divine energy; they must be balanced in perfect proportion by balancing compassion with discipline. This balance can be seen in the role of Tiferet, wherein the conflicting forces are harmonized, and creation flowers forth. Tiferet also similarly balances Netzach and Hod. In that case, Hod can be seen as the intellect whereas Netzach is seen as emotion.

"Guardian of the Forest"

This is a 3 shot panorama of an amazing tree at the entrance to the forest, whose branches spread out far from its side as if serving as the "guardian" of the forest... thus the title.

Multipleexposure exposure of this wonderful tree I found. It represents life and new beginnings for me. I photographed the birds last year in Den Oever, the Netherlands. The birds were added afterwards in Photoshop in two extra layers.

GPN outdoor photoshoot at the tree of life Bahrain

The Tree of Life from Animal Kingdom at WDW. For this one I stitched together 9 hand-held shots then intentionally went a little overboard on the editing.

And also Animal Kingdom's 18th Anniversary!

Thanks for looking!

Looking through the tree of life to signs of life within

Disney's Animal Kingdom Park

This is the most mysterious looking church door that I know! The yew trees must have been planted many many years ago, and are now part of the structure of the north doorway, and give off a green light! Truly an image of the Yew as Tree of Life.

"So calm and so cool, yeah I try to be

Like it don't bother me

The last time was the last time

Until I'm all alone and I'm picking up the phone

One more call

It's one more "whatcha doin right now?"

It's one more trip to my side of town and you walk right in

One more here we go again

One more drink leads to another

You slide up close to me

Tear the t-shirts off each other

Your hands all over me

I tell myself I'm not in love

But one more time is not enough

One last kiss and then you're a goner

And I'm here wishing you could stay a little longer."
