A scene reminiscent of Tolkien with tree roots, branches and trunk lit by filtered sun alongside Pingle Lane, an ancient way from Johnnygate to the ford at Millthorpe on the edge of the Peak District in North East Derbyshire.

I invite you to visit all my photo-gallery. Thanks
Today I went to a conservatory in Providence, RI . . .
Funny thing is that I was most attracted to the *tree* trunks,
but look what photo I liked the best!
Who *wooda* thunk about the trunk?
A shot of the Bachelor and Three Graces, giant sequoias, in the Mariposa Grove, Yosemite National Park. The rain had just paused and there was a slight fog around the grove...making it feel sort of mystical.
In March I had an opportunity to visit my sister in Victoria, Texas. While visiting we toured many areas where I was able to get a photo shoot in. On this day we stayed in Victoria and traveled to the outskirts where this lazy river was flowing. Right on that river bank was a bar and grill where we relaxed with a Martini and shrimp. Such a nice view from their outdoor deck! Some of the views are abstract with many reflections. I will be uploading each place separately as I get them ready to view. This is a B&W photo taken through the distorting optics of rain rivulets on the window of my car that reveals a rather dark and terrifying pareidolia portrait of a psychotically enraged tree.
I often walk this trail from my house and into a local park. This particular section is very dark and as the skies haven't cleared yet from the rainy day, it is more dark and wet than usual.
Happy Tree-mendous Tuesday!
I saw this little This Eastern chipmunk (Tamias striatus) at the end of its tree trunk burrow at the Springfield Nature Center. After a bit of contemplation, it decided I wasn't a threat and scampered across the trail and into the leaf litter. I didn't seem many birds but played hide and seek with two different chipmunks.
