“Tree of Life” in New Orleans. At nearly 500 years old, I was excited to be able to photograph this tree this week while visiting New Orleans. As Easter represents a new life, an eternal life, I wanted to post this on Easter Sunday. Happy Easter!!!
In March I had an opportunity to visit my sister in Victoria, Texas. While visiting we toured many areas where I was able to get a photo shoot in. On this day we stayed in Victoria and traveled to the outskirts where this lazy river was flowing. Right on that river bank was a bar and grill where we relaxed with a Martini and shrimp. Such a nice view from their outdoor deck! Some of the views are abstract with many reflections. I will be uploading each place separately as I get them ready to view. The light in these snow coated trees caught my eye on a recent walk. Now, sadly, the snow is melting!
I was struck by the way the wall encased a tree trunk even though its purpose was to keep the wild woodland beyond contained.

Few birds are happier in the company of man than the house sparrow, and for much of the year it is rare to find them far from human habitations.
