Not a great photo, but did you know pineapples grew this way... damn, I was stupid. They grow upside down! The tree is lower then my waist... heck, it's not even a tree really!
As I went for a walk this morning the clouds and mist had parted and the sun was starting to peek through. It will be another dry, sunny, autumn day. (Explored)

Mount Hahlić got it it's name from "hahlići" which is local name for those water puddles, which are abundant on the plateau at about 1000m height..... The Adriatic sea, island Krk and Rijeka in the distance..
The light was just amazing this afternoon and showed the trees wonderful autumn colours perfectly. Minimal post processing and as luck would have it shot at 45mm so perspective is pretty much exactly as it appeared to the naked eye.

Ridge line between two valleys, there must be a lot of wet wind that blows over the ridge line and makes a great habitat for this moss on these trees.
Back in analog photography. This was recorded with a Hasselblad SWC Biogon 38/4.5 on Fuji Velvia. Then digitized with my new "dinosaur-scanner" Imacon Flextight Precision ii and an equally dinosaur-computer Apple Power G4. This is a real time travel with lousy response time but with unparalleled image quality.

Its been months since I've seen a vibrant sunrise, so this was a real treat. This small group of trees on Castlemorton Common provided interesting silhouettes against this colourful sky
