At Pinecrest Lake, near the Sonora Pass.
Shot on Velvia 50 in a Pentax 645Nii. Looking back, I think this image could have used another half-stop of exposure. I had to tweak the image in Lightroom to pull up the shadows, which is why its a little grainy at the bottom of the image.
The utopian landscape of Herb's house. This painting is the idea of a perfect/natural environment prior to industrialization. Trees grow, there are fields of crops, and lands as far as the eye can see. His little dog is out along the pathway peering out to a little flag that is just poking out above the hill. This flag foreshadows the second panel.

Downtown St Petersburg along the waterfront. North shore Beach is a little stretch of beach on the bay side. A storm was on it's way in.
Working with multiple exposures in camera lately, allowed me to discover a new creative path full of possibilities and inspiration. Still need lots of practice, but I really enjoy the whole procedure so far!
I was on a walk with Emily a few days ago. I saw a bunch of trees like this, starting to come back to life.
