The red leaves on this tree are quite striking - I'm not certain, but I would guess it is a Maple. I need to go and have a look at the leaves to be sure.
It's in the St Pancras & Islington Cemetery. The single grave visible below is a mass grave for all the human remains found underneath St Pancras station during the recent development of the Eurostar station there...

Playing with sunset and a one-light strobist technique to light my model...Joe Josha Tree... who was quite patient by the way. I like this one the best of the two, much more interesting than a silhoutte....
This tree is a recurring theme for those who know my work. This time I used an ancient Zeiss Ikon Box Tengor, a marvelous box camera from the 1930-ies. Frontar 105mm lens. Ilford FP4+, exposed for several seconds. Xtol 1+1 10 min.

I did a little research on this camera after seeing 2 of them at a local thrift store. I went back and picked up both of them for $2.99 each. They are really nice, super portable point and shoots, with a very sharp lens. It will be my go to travel camera when i need to pack light.
