One of a quartet of 0-4-0 locos built by the Yorkshire Engine co. They worked at the Goldendale Ironworks at Chatterley near Stoke on Trent. This is possibly "Hilldale" works no. 580 of 1899.

Amazingly the locos worked until 1971.

35mm & 120 transparency, taped together and photographed in a 10x8 large format camera.

Owing to my continued trouble acquiring a new scanner, and acknowledging that when I do get one this work'll still be horrendously awkward to scan, I taped them to the window and took a few shots. This is what I've been working on of late, an advancement of my Together/Apart series. Still very much a work in progress.

The side entrance of Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles. On a hot sunny day, my friend and I were shooting the famous Disney Concert Hall, which is a hot spot for architectural photography. Not sure if anybody has shot ths angle before, but I'm definitely falling in love with my 12-24mm and it's distortions :)

Cette variété a la particularité d'avoir de grandes fleurs avec plus de cinq pétales denses. Elles sont si fournies qu’elles ressemblent à des petits morceaux de coton rose.

This variety has the distinction of having large flowers with more than five dense petals. They are so provided that they look like little pieces of pink cotton.
