I took a roll of transparency film and processed it in c-41 chemicals and the results are amazing!

Double exposure and light leaks. This is one of my favorites from the roll.

Explored#360

Industar-50-2 3,5/50

I accidentally sandwiched two transparencies together and scanned them at once. The resulting image-more so than either individual image—gives a good sense of the energy of a busy monastery.

Don't know if you can see it in this small flickr image, but the little girl on the right with the mask is wearing the world's best mushroom coat.

For the Macro Mondays group theme 'Transparency'...

These swizzle sticks were a bargain at £1 for the sticks, straws and a whole bunch of those little cocktail umbrellas - which will no doubt make an appearance in my photostream at some point...

Tulamben Bali - December 2022

Portland Oregon "Hands Off" Rally, April 5, 1025.

I marched, but also took a lot of photos with my phone. So expect a big dump of those. As in many other places there was a large turnout in Portland. It was loud, energized and peaceful.

Scanned from a Kodachrome64 transparency.

'Glenfidditch'

Desperate end of day shot.

Another 4.5x6" canvas board. The transparencies - butterfly, bees, and pattern - are from a set by K & Co. The layers include Distress Crackle Paint from Ranger, tissue tape, rub-ons and stencilled modelling paste. Background stamps by Hero Arts and Stamp Francisco.

Jupiter and the Great Red Spot (GRS) crossing in front on August 25th 2022. This one processed a little differently than the one I posted earlier and I think this one turned out better and shows more detail. Seeing was above average with average transparency. Meade 12" LX200, ZWO ASI 174 MM

This makes me think of what one might create if it were possible to press an amaryllis blossom....

Sigmund Freud, following Friedrich Nietzsche ("On Truth and Lie in a Nonmoral Sense"), regularly argues that transparency is impossible because of the occluding function of the unconscious.
