It was later that I realised I'd caught the take off but wasn't expecting such translucence in the wings and tail

Little translucent yellow spider guarding her eggs. That's a mint leaf and she almost got muddled into a mojito.....view large if you can.

I thought the subject for this photo would be a little unique, since everyone else was taking photos of flowers. I also really wanted to get the light coming through something and I think it worked. You can see the veins of the leaf. Also the background looks cool with the little circles of light.

Self-Critique: I wish I had taken this at a big of a wider angle because I think it would be cooler to have more of the background in the left side of the photo.

Diamond? Taaffeite? I dunno. Anybody can help?

was insanely dark inside, only one that turned out semi-decent
