I loved the way the light was shinging through this Lady Slipper's "wings".

I suspect this has evolved so they can see underwater. The bill structure is fascinating.

This guy looks white but to the eye he was almost translucent. My wife knows never to ask me to kill a spider because the first thing I will do is run for the camera :)
