3" of a Tiffany lamp we have had for years. The art of stained glass is the translucent offspring of such earlier art forms as mosaic and enameling. From the mosaicist came the conception of composing monumental images out of many separate pieces of coloured glass.
The background is dark, but the sun is shining through the glass jar. So, this is a backlit scene. We would not see anything of the jar had there not been some impurities and some diffractions (things we try to avoid when it comes to the glass inside our cameras). Samyang mirror reflex lens (which has hardly any glass inside) and Fuji X-E3.

So called because when pressed onto paper, it fills in surface imperfections and air gaps to blend in seamlessly—making it nearly invisible, hence the "Magic" name.

This is some orange organza (translucent) over some orange knitted ribbed fabric. The organza is completely covering the knitted fabric. Lit between the 2 layers and from above the organza. Happy Macro Monday everyone!
