Don't know why they are called "Transitions". Must have been a project for college.
The whole time I was in China I constantly was reminded of how everything in China was in transition. I feel that this photograph is telling of that. More and more, the private vehicle is replacing the heavily utilized transit of the past, the bicycle. Taken in January, 2008 in Dalian, China.
Veiled Transition explores the subtle interplay between darkness and illumination, presenting a layered narrative of introspection. Indigo and black hues against white carve out a visual journey into the depths of perception, inviting a reflection on the unseen aspects of change.

I've been going through my pictures and I thought it'd be fun to edit the pictures I took of my brother when he ran a triathlon last march. In this shot, Ben is transitioning from the swim to the biking portion, and he's squeezing in some Powerbar Gel stuff into his mouth.
This was the first time I ever took pictures with an SLR camera and this is definitely what got me interested in photography in the first place. I loved the speed you could take pictures, the size of the camera, and the insane quality of the image (compared to the old point and shoots that I was used to). With that being said, I'm glad Ben trusted me with his 30D, because if it wasn't for this event it's very likely that I wouldn't have gotten into photography at all.
