Amazing transition of seeing cubes which change to rectrangle pattern. This is related to the hard wired eye contrast improvement.
This concludes my "black period", a series of dark-themed photographs from autumn 2022 to spring 2023. In the spring and summer of 2023 I will be focusing on the opposite: the main theme in my work will be white. The darker photos will no doubt return when the days get shorter again.

Petals, I always bring loads of flowers (work/fun) back from Belgium. Some survive better than others, Ranunculus are always the more tender flowers.
Of the orange ones, some were raining petals on the black background, to me, a clear sign of HEY, PHOTOGRAPH ME!!!
Which I promptly did. Result!

I took this in Dublin's Phoenix park. It still looked like Autumn, but it felt like Winter, it was freezing, but so beautiful. This is looking out of the park to The tower of the 300 year old Royal hospital bell tower.
