Des Moines, Iowa USA - MAR 5, 2023: Sunday Rally to Resist. 2,000 people rallied outside the Iowa State Capitol in support of LGBTQ rights and against anti-LGBTQ bills moving through the legislature.
March 25, 2025. Boston, MA.
HANDS OFF OUR PASSPORTS!
About 60 people marched around the Moakley Court House to show support for transgender people as a federal district court in Boston heard arguments from attorneys representing transgender and nonbinary Americans impacted by a new State Department policy requiring U.S. passports to reflect their sex assigned at birth, rolling back decades of State Department policy.
Following a January 2025 executive order from President Donald Trump barring people from updating the sex designation on their passports, the ACLU filed a federal lawsuit challenging the State Department’s refusal to issue passports with accurate sex designations on behalf of seven transgender, nonbinary, and intersex people.

The City of Victoria is evicting the homeless from pandemic friendly, self-isolating, camp sites; forcing them to move to a temporary encampment in Topaz Park, which provides no opportunity for social distancing or proper hygiene; from where they plan on moving them again, into a large stadium setting which amounts to warehousing of the homeless in a confined setting; again, not COVID-19 friendly.
One of the camps being emptied is the Humans of Beacon Hill Park Community, who live unobtrusively with little objection from the community. The move would place them at higher risk of contracting coronavirus.

The government recent miraculous (clearly it easily could have been done before) (didn't need #covid_19 to happen) housing of the homeless is presented as a success story, but they are not telling you about the deaths.
The "housing" provided is NOT protected by the Residential Tenancy Act; and is nothing more than Soft Incarceration; without the supports these people need and deserve.
They have been given beads, bobbles, and blankets; in exchange for their possessions, liberties, and for some already, their lives. #RIP
