Many prisoners of the Tudors entered the Tower of London through the Traitors' Gate. The gate was built by Edward I, to provide a water gate entrance to the Tower, part of St. Thomas's Tower, which was designed to provide additional accommodation for the royal family.
In the pool behind Traitors' Gate was an engine that was used for raising water to a cistern on the roof of the White Tower. The engine worked originally by the force of the tide or by horsepower and eventually by steam. In 1724–6, it was adapted to drive machinery for boring gun barrels. It was removed in the 1860s.[citation needed]
The name Traitors' Gate has been used since before 1544, when that name is used on Anthonis van den Wyngaerde's panorama of London.[1] Prisoners were brought by barge along the Thames, passing under London Bridge, where the heads of recently executed prisoners were displayed on pikes. Queen Anne Boleyn and Sir Thomas More entered the Tower by Traitors' Gate.
This is the infamous entrance to the Tower of London where certain prisoners were delivered under cover of darkness by water so as to avoid the angry mobs. This is where Anne Boleyn made her final entrance, along with a number of other high profile prisoners.

Chapter 6 – traitor
“Anna.”- I gasped. Anna’s eyes found mine as I loosened my hold of her.
“Hello, traitor.” – She said with a bitter look on her face.
“You know…”,she stood up not breaking eye contact, her eyes as cold as ever. She could make the devil blush.
“…when they hired me to eliminate you, I almost turned them down. You know how much I hate working with people.”
That’s true. If there’s anything she hates more than me, it’s working with other people. She even gave up a great life as a lawyer because of it and went full on Bonnie and Clyde with me a long time ago. That is, until I took the money and left her.
“However, when I found out that you’re the target, I gladly accepted the job. You didn’t expect a reunion, did you?”
“Who wants me dead now?”
A wide grin curved her pale lips as she picked up the knife and approached me. She swung the knife at me, I ducked, dodging the attack. The knife ripped through the thin fabric of my shirt and scratched the surface of my body before I punched her.
I fell on the ground, growling in pain. Anna took out her phone and the flash went off a couple of times.
“Smile for the camera.” – She continued to take pictures of me.
I smirked, took the knife out of the wound and threw it at her.

This can’t be true, Kate doesn’t kill. She’s been following the Batman rule ever since I became her sidekick. But, what if she snapped?
What if that’s why she’s been acting so weird lately? What if that’s what she’s been doing for a while now? What if she’s a killer?
I need to find out if she really killed Bellome Sinclair’s daughter. The only proof I have is the dagger and it might not even be the same one Sylvia was stabbed with. If I ask some of my friends at the autopsy, I can compare the stab wound to the dagger and solve the case.
I met up with Bellome, who wants me to investigate his daughter’s death. He believes it was murder and I didn’t deny. I couldn’t. If it turns out that Kate didn’t kill Sylvia, and I pray to God that she didn’t, I will try to make up with her.
And if she did…
I will tell Bellome the clues lead nowhere or something.
I know one thing, my daughter will not end up in a prison cell. I’ll do whatever it takes to protect her.

Bellome agreed to meet me in his office, to talk to me about the case.
Because of our busy schedules we decided to meet up at night.
“ Colonel Kane. ”, he cleared his throat, “You are the best in the business, correct?”
“ Yes.”, I said.
“ I believe that you will find the killer and make sure he gets what he deserves.”, he looked at me as if he demanded the answers to a question he didn’t ask.
I nodded firmly.
“ I want you to update me whenever you find out something new, no matter how relevant it is to the case. You will tell me everything?” , Bellome Synclaire stood up from his desk like a king stands up from a throne.
“ I will.”
“ Even if it turns out the killer is your daughter?”
His eyes went dark as he got closer to me.
“ What?”, My voice came out deeper than I expected.
The reflection of a ninja behind me in the glass window appeared . I ran from the ninja and smashed Bellome’s head against the desk and punched him twice before I attacked the ninja.
The ninja dodged my attack, grabbed my arm and twisted it. The hollow pain in my back stopped me from defending myself. My bones felt like tree branches that are about to break.
The ninja planted his hand on my face, covering my mouth and nose.
I started feeling nauceous and soon ran out of breath, as I fell on the ground.

Strokes & paralysis type things can happen to anyone, including me, in any instance. Just last week I discreetly said my goodbyes to loved ones before going for a complex surgery I almost didn’t make it out from.
For even a stranger, I’d send prayers. My compassion modules stop functioning, however, for traitors, Nazis, and people like Putin, Kim, Trump, Modi, Netanyahu, etc. For this treason-defending Russian-stooge dildo-doll enemy of democracy I can only wish a hot cubicle in hell for him — with the likes of Limbaugh, and other scum de la universe.

The gate was designed by the Medieval architect Master James of St George on the orders of King Edward I between 1275 and 1279 to provide a new water-gate by which King Edward could arrive at the Tower by river. In the proceeding centuries, as the Tower of London increasingly came to be used as a prison for enemies of the state accused of treason, it acquired its current name of Traitors Gate due to the the number of prisoners, accused of treason, who have passed through it. Prisoners were brought by barge along the Thames, passing under London Bridge, where the grisly heads of recently executed prisoners were displayed on pikes. In Tudor times, such famous political prisoners as Edward, Duke of Buckingham, Queen Anne Boleyn, Sir Thomas More, Queen Catherine Howard, the tragic Lady Jane Grey, Seymour, Duke of Somerset, Princess Elizabeth (the future Elizabeth I), Robert Devereux, Earl of Essex and James, Duke of Monmouth, the errant son of Charles II, all entered the Tower by the fearsome Traitors' Gate
Queen Anne Boleyn was arrested on the charges of treason, adultery and incest in 1536. Sir Henry Norris and the Queen's brother, George Boleyn, Lord Rochford were arrested, accused of adultery with the Queen and taken to the Tower of London by barge and also passed through the Traitors Gate entrance.

Commentary.
There are literally hundreds of vibrant, splendid rivers
and valleys in the Highlands, the valley of the River Averon or Alness.
Its source rises in the massif known as Ben Wyvis, 1,043 metres.
It largely flows eastwards below the impressive and now famous Ardross Castle, where the UK version of “The Traitors” is filmed.
It veers southwards and reaches the Cromarty Firth near Alness, hence, one of its two popular names.
As with so many Scottish rivers, in flood, it can move large boulders, that are scattered along its shores in times of low rainfall.
The valley is surrounded by hills, therefore the river is fed by numerous tributaries some cascading down mini-gorges.
Everywhere is resplendent with mature coniferous and deciduous trees.
The river meanders like a blue serpent through patches of meadow and fields of pasture, fodder and arable crops.
Easter Ross has Highland scenery to match the best of Perthshire and the Cairngorms.
