Picture taken just after Roger H., Lee from Faulks, and I finished spreading the ballast. The green pipes are for sewer and water to the caboose.
When the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad built their new station in Scranton they commissioned 36 tile murals from the Grueby Faience Company of Revere, Massachusetts. The murals depict scenes along the DL&W's Phoebe Snow route from Hoboken to Buffalo, which was the railroad's most scenic route.
The scene depicted here is along the Chemung Canal in New York.
MTA New York City Transit crew performs a track inspection on the elevated Broadway 1 line near 125 St on Wed., October 30, 2019. The crew replaced wire baskets and checked for loose parts along the track.

this is up north at my lake on 3.6.09 and this is the lake...covered in 17.5 inches of snow. not sure if all of it has melted yet or if it snowed again.
