I took this picture between Oregon City and Canby one Fall morning a long time ago. Trains are one of my favorite subjects, but they are elusive, and happen past only when I am not with camera. Sometimes, I have to make due with taking pictures of just the tracks. On the fine morning in question, there was a sunrise in progress, so I got a little extra color out of it.

Uploaded sharper version 2/3/19. The original file was a bit small, so I may eventually have to rescan the slide. All these years later, I can say that I understand depth of field a bit better than when I took this.

This is the least certain identification--the footprints looked canine, and could have been left by a dog. They were roughly fox-sized, though, and a fox has been spotted in the vicinity.
