This image reminds me of the film "Stalker" by Tarkovsky...the Zone.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to visit.

Just one left. Waiting for the train, it will make all things smoother.

I couldn't decide which one I liked best.

I had to go higher and higher to find virgin snow. I hate it when the snow is all tracked up by humans, but I sure love critter tracks. Stay tuned for the pine marten pic. I waited an hour for him to come out.

The mountain railway tracks and the LLanberis path on the left leading up to the summit of Mount Snowdon.

Out of all the times I've been up I've never seen it so clear on the approach (ok, we were going down when I took this) - where normally it's shrouded in cloud and mist where one can only see a few metres in front.

...and can't seem to find one. Do these look like train tracks to you? Am I on the right track? ;-)

Near New Brighton Beach, Capitola

Busy tractor tracks.

Old ironstone railway line.

Hope you are having a great Sunday? It’s been another gloomy weekend morning so far here at mid west. And while we are all waiting on fall to reach our borders I’ve been shooting locally so far. This is a frame from last week with some sun tracking behind the lighthouse. What do you think?

Ancient tracks and peace....just birds and sheep.

Went for a hike in the White Mountains of NH to see Arethusa falls. Wasn't a great day weather wise but it was still a good time. These tracks run along Frankenstein Cliffs, and as much as we wanted to see where they led there wasn't enough daylight left to make the trek. An adventure for another day!

La Plagne, France

Historical old Point of Rocks, Maryland train station.

Edinburgh, Scotland - This is the Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station. Initially constructed in 1846, it was demolished in 1866 and rebuilt, which seems to happen often in Scotland.

Why is it called Waverley? It's named after the Waverley Novels by Sir Walter Scott.

An early morning shot along the Waterside railway track as the fog started to lift

Look close and you can see animal tracks and looks like footprints on the railroad. Happy Hump Day!
