In South Florida in late summer, the Atlantic Ocean boils up to form large clouds that frequntly produce rain in the afternoon. Here you can see some evidence of this beyond the Boynton Beach Inlet. Average Atlantic Ocean temp was 87F for several weeks prior to the taking of this photograph.
Happy Fence Friday.

It is very seldom we get these clouds so well defined so close. - We usually have too many of them so it is difficult to get a good photography view of their beautiful form.
Our offshore helicopters hate them though, or at least are grieved by them.
There is an ugly (at least in this light) factory to the right resulted in a forced crop so i didn't included the tail of the cloud. - But you can finish it in your imagination. It was probably very feminine and dancerlike.

a few shots inside the "original" Fire Hall 1 in St.Albert, Alberta
St. Albert's first fire hall — the old Fire Hall 1 building — may be up for demolition, as the city has squared away funds to decommission the building in its 2022 draft budget.
Built in 1962 and located at 18 Sir Winston Churchill Ave, the Fire Hall 1 building is in the process of being replaced with a new location at 20 Gate Ave.

I know you are probably getting tired of my photos of the tower but I just can't get enough of this place. It seems to have some magic surrounding it, because whenever go there I end up with some interesting shots. This is a different composition of my last post of this tower except this time I have the entire tower in the scene. I have post processed this a bit different than the last one as well by staying in 32 bit mode for editing and then converting to 16 bit on output.
Hope you like it!!! :)
Thank you for taking the time to take a look at my photos and as always, your views, comments, faves, and support are greatly appreciated!! Have a great weekend everyone :)

A gorgeous winter sunset view over the North West Lancashire coastline from Jubilee Tower.
This Tower was built by architect James Harrison to mark Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee in 1887. It has a viewing platform giving fabulous views over Morecambe Bay and the Fylde Coast beyond. On a clear day you can see the Isle of Man and the mountains of North Wales.

After another night shift job I got up as soon as I could and searched for something quick and easy, I opted for Owyhigh Lakes. While it's rated as moderate due to the 1650 feet gained it's only 3.5 miles to the lakes. I saw two people total and one bear.
Once you exit the old growth canopy you'll arrive in a meadow and just as suddenly Governor's Ridge makes it's towering appearance. While this hike is a one trick pony photographically speaking, standing here is worth the endless switchbacks up.
