B-boys and B-girls from all over the country competed in a 3v3 battle, with top judges
and DJs for a £300 cash prize. There was
also an open floor policy for anyone wanting
to show their own moves.
Took Max along to see Top Gear Live at Earls Court today.
Wasn't really there to take photos, but grabbed a few. I think some of these are actually Max's (probably any that are half decent..)
One of the reasons we went today - this is Max's favorite car in the world, the Bugatti Veyron.

And here is my top half. It’s pretty blank… I spent WAY too much time getting the girl right. Especially that damn hand. It’s supposed to look like it’s gripping the axe. Let me know if it’s distracting, or “blob-like.”
Um, the logo and text will go below the girl, once I figure that out. I’m a bit concerned that the two sides don’t look unified enough, so any advice for that would be awesome!
Overall, it doesn’t really feel like a design that would appear on a snowboard. But I just really wanted to do some detailed illustrations as my focus. So oh well!

"top crop" pics are (re)posted in no particular order, 33 in total, I tried top 10 and there's no way I could restrict myself to 10, top 20 didn't work either, 33 made the cut (paddle up/down stream for more), I'll re-post 3 a day before the New Year
The top is finished! I am so pleased with how it turned out. I didn't piece the sashing according to the directions (whoops) but I made it work. I only had to seam rip ONE seam in this entire process, which is a miracle!
I'm hoping I have a sheet big enough to use whole for the backing. I think it's going to be free-motion quilted! :)
