A beautiful autumn day at Leeds Liverpool Canal

Trim songbird with pointed bill, grayish above, pale below. In the Top End of the Northern Territory, back slightly browner; in north Queensland, back more greenish gray. Smaller and more slender than female Golden Whistler. Forages fairly low in dense vegetation such as mangroves, wetter forests, or swampy woodlands. Common song a ringing, two-noted whistle. (eBird)

A small, plain bird hiding in the early morning gloom and whistling his early morning song. He didn't really want to be seen, but I got him anyway.

Very close to the source of the "São Francisco River" there is this placid lagoon that reflects the sky and there begins the first fall of the great river.
"Serra da Canastra" National Park, "Casca D'Anta" waterfall, São José do Barreiro, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
I just did not now how to shoot this place.
It was too obvious just getting the people all lined up.
A closeup was interesting, but flat.
Then as I was going back to my bicycle I turned around and 🎶
--- cue the photo music.... a tree, a puddle and drizzle -- 🎶
2 miles peddling home wet with a big smile on my face...

All Hallows 2021
Late afternoon winter sunlight on Broken Top, Central Oregon, USA. Central Oregon offers the imaginative photographer four (well three - spring and winter tend to tussle for dominance) seasons of wonderful subjects. Though I've had to pull back on the more strenuous treks, this image was taken by simply stepping out of the SUV just outside Mt. Bachelor's parking lot.

If you want to climb the top-rock in the Coyote Buttes North, there are two routes. The fastest, but not necessarily the easiest route steeply uphill behind the Second Wave. There is no mark, you have to find your way.
The picture was taken during the ascent in the morning in indirect light.

Clouds in the sky after a rainy morning. I went to Oak Canyon to get out and smell the fresh air. This set was captured from the same spot on a hill top. I was lucky today. It was a good day.
I had seconds to get this shot. Good thing my camera was on and close to the correct settings.

Analogica, Zenit 3 M ( 1962 ) priva di esposimetro, Helios 58 mm f 2 ( M 39 ) Fuji color C 200, sviluppo con Tetenal. E' molto difficile fare foto a dei topi che appena sentono il minimo rumore scappano subito e ogni volta che mi presento con un 100 o 135 mm non ci sono mai, la rete verde del pollaio poi non aiuta la messa a fuoco...Ora esco con il cane !
