Some pictures taken by the late Michael Cleary. I will be uploading any I think may be of interest. None were catalogued. Where I know the approximate date I will state it. Similarly I will give the location.
Late 1989 I believe.
When Salt Lake City hosted three long distance passenger trains per day, a switch engine was required to add and subtract cars from the Desert Wind, Pioneer, and California Zephyr trains. Amtrak SW1 No. 736, nicknamed 'Lil' Toot' is pictured shuffling an EMD F40PH locomotive at the Rio Grande depot on the morning of July 2, 1988. āLilā Tootā was built in January 1942 for the New York Central. It would later toil for both Penn Central and Ohio Central before beginning a career with Amtrak. After working in Utah it was transferred to shuttle coaches in Oakland, California until retirement in 2001.

There is some gorgeous blossoms to be found in Tooting, either on the street as in this case or in some of the local graveyards which have an amazing variety of trees and widlife.
The Totterdown Fields estate, dating from the early 20th century, was an early example of a London 'Cottage Estate.' Consisting, in a large part, of what would now be called 'affordable housing' it was designed with real care and imagination, with a variety of homes of various sizes and styles.

Running a mere 8 minutes behind schedule, the westbound Cardinal makes its VERY brief stop at Alderson, West Virginia on the evening of September 26, 2021. Behind the engine is DOTX 221, a Federal Railroad Administration Office of Safety car.

ha ha I didn't see it before now but the bump you might see is actually the lover part of my steel boned corset, nothing else! ;)
I think I've commented elsewhere that, like many British people of a certain age, Tooting Broadway station will always remind me of the 1970s comedy show, "Citizen Smith" starring Robert Lindsay as a would-be Marxist revolutionary living in Tooting.

This little red-breasted nuthatch seems to have settled into our woods for the winter. He's quite vocal as he visits the feeders throughout the day, full of beeps and toots. Andover, NJ
