Another view of the largest sand tiger shark tooth I found at Purse State Park. This is a 60 million year old fossil tooth of Paleocene age.

This is a lateral incisor that I had extracted. You can clearly see the level of decay that was present beneath the enamel.

This shot shows the back of the tooth. The blackened portion faced the inside of my mouth and was only visible as a slight greying beneath the enamel from the front.

Lest you think my mouth is a filthy cesspool, I brush twice daily and use mouthwash. No, I don't floss, and no, I don't go to the dentist very often (bad dental anxiety). Those two mistakes were the only contributing factors in the loss of this tooth. Please save your judgment for the photograph only. :-)

This guy was so happy at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic . He was posing for his own picture and then posed for ours.

Tonight I had them lined up. Gianna is 4 years old. This is the second baby tooth I have pulled for her. She is a little neighbor girl that I just adore. In the background is Reece my youngest wiggling his tooth waiting his turn. My daughter took the photo for me. =)

I made this tooth fairy pillow for my granddaughter Allison. I changed the colors of the fairy's dress to pink and purple which are her favorite colors. The pillow is backed with a cotton fabric covered with fairies and has a loopy chenille-like fringe trim.

Well it took her long enough, but she finally lost her first tooth on the 10th. I was so surprised that it took her soooo long to begin to lose them. I was wondering if she was going to keep those baby pearly whites!!

Completely on her own, she decided she needs to stand on her step stool to brush her teeth. (We had been doing it with her sitting on the counter.) She can JUST get up high enough to spit into the very edge of the sink if she stands on her tippy tiptoes. (Yes, she's short. And likely to stay that way.)

Found this old abandoned, rusting piece of farm machinery. There's no way this is ever going to work again!

His tooth has been loose for sometime. He finally pulled it. The toothfairy brought him $4. I remember a quarter!!! Inflation hits everywhere. LOL
