My little brother lost his first tooth on Jan. 11th '08. I figured I'd make a memory last forever and take a picture. Then decided to put it in my Flickr account.

My left side is swollen in this photo due to a crooked little wisdom tooth getting a bit infected. Oh boy!
This is what a puppy tooth looks like when it falls out. I think this might have been one of the premolars, the one with three roots. There is usually a very small bit of blood on the tooth and the back side is concave. Overall, you can see that puppy teeth (of the molar/premolar type) are really flat.
Madame Tooth Fairy flew in for the very first time just hours after Santa. this was not the surprise; the surprise was that the first tooth to go was a lower left incisor and not the expected upper right center incisor that is hanging on by nothing.

Uni is so so good, but I miss doing art more than anything. I'm gonna fight hard to find the time to do more weird stuff like this again =]

My youngest son lost his other front tooth today.

This is how big the teeth are- and this one wasn't the biggest, but the picture of the biggest one didn't turn out very well!
The tooth fairy cleaned her closet out years ago and gave me my cavity

I have to go to the dentist tomorrow for root canal work - I figured she doesn't get many gifts so I made her a tooth!

For about two years, it lead a dull life and went by quite unnoticed. Then, last week, my wisdom tooth started to predominate my life. Now it has had its fair share of fame and glory - and I had my fair share of pain. Last night my wisdom tooth ended up in a plastic bag at the dentist (I'm sure she set up a speed record - I swear it didn't take more than 5 minutes after I sat down in that chair until it was out). Then we lived happily ever after...

Back in December, Savanah got her second loose tooth. Today, 3 months later, it finally fell out. Maybe it is just me and the years that it's been since I was losing my baby teeth, but I really don't remember them taking 3 months plus to fall out.
Savanah is thrilled to have it out and is eagerly awaiting the arrival of the tooth fairy this evening.
The first tooth she lost is growing back in, but that one too seems to be taking its good old time.
