Both the kids lost teeth on the same day (okay, it was last month, but I have been busy). The tooth fairy will be broke soon if they keep this up!
These pictures are for Travis in response to his question on this other photo. I found this shark tooth in an area of disturbed land in central Florida sometime around 1981. The way its base is broken off on both sides makes me think it was deliberatley modified for use as an arrowhead. The scar running from the tip down the face of the tooth could have been caused by the arrow striking some hard object.
when i was less than ten years old, my family drove down to florida. somewheres in the carolina's, we stopped at a motel. i went swimming in the pool. there was this cement lip that stuck out into/over the water. i remember swimming underwater and coming up at the edge and crashing right into that cement lip with my teeth! almost twenty years later and this is the first time the faketooth/realtooth bond failed. i was eating a caprese sandwich and all of a sudden it was gone. i swollowed it without even knowing.

Tooth was a 9X13 double layer vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. The "dentist" and accessories were formed out of fondant.
